I still can't believe this was slated for release in mid-September 2001.

I know everyone has a "Oh Fark!" 9/11 story of some sort.  But these guys... and their cover artist...

I know. The two explosions at different heights, the top of the tower leaning about right.

Spooky.

Any time I see the image I think "this must be from the 1990s or something, and we've just conflated the myth that it was set to be released on/around September 11."

One thing to note- 9/11/2001 was a Tuesday- which is when most albums were released back then.

The artwork predated the attack by months.

There was also a scene in the upcoming Spider Man movie where spidey catches a helicopter using a web between the twin towers. It was in the trailer but cut from the movie.

Pretty sure Trump has no idea how many people died at Pearl Harbor or on 9-11.

How much is that in Benghazis?

Yes but did he see pro-vaxxers dancing and celebrating in the streets?

According to Trumphumpers, there would need to be a few million more deaths before we approached the casualties from Benghazi.

The real metric is Benghazi's per Mooch.

The Coup are great.

There needs to be more political activism/consciousness in Hip Hop.

And they're saying what we're all thinking.

I saw a sticker for that album on a streetlamp in downtown Brooklyn a few days after the attack and was livid, thinking that they had made that image AFTER it.

But then, on the morning of Sept 11, when I finally got to a computer and could email everyone I knew to let them know that I was still alive, I saw two emails from Amazon, one letting me know that there was a delay on an album to have been released that day, and one letting me know that the other one was on its way to me:

subject lines:

"THE BROTHERHOOD OF THE BOMB has shipped to your home"

"GOD HATES US ALL."

""It's a respected task force. I know it myself. I didn't know whether or not it was appreciated by the public but it is appreciated by the public."

What a way to "govern".  Threaten to get rid of something to gauge public interest in it.

I hate this mother*cker with every ounce of my being.

This is a trial balloon to see if he can go to war with China.

Duck and cover, everyone.

Oddly enough that was one of the first things I thought of when I turned on the TV.
Don't know why. Guess it was the most iconic thing I could think of related the towers.

Now reason #3,401,420,568,924 that Trumps needs to be removed: (R)epugnants will be dead set to obstruct any investigation or review of just how poorly the Executive, Federal government, etc. responded to this pandemic.

Coronavirus is not an attack. It is a test of the most basic fundamental operations of government for health and safety.

And since they're failing at the basics ... just think of how farked we will be if a motivated enemy decided to attack us now

FTA: "We went through the worst attack we've ever had in our country," the president said of the virus which has killed more than 71,000 people in the United States.
This is really the worst attack we've ever had. This is worse than Pearl Harbor. This is worse than the World Trade Center. There's never been an attack like this," he continued.

He's pushing the narrative that this is an attack on the U.S. by enemies of the U.S. like Pearl Harbor and 9-11. This goes hand in hand with the lie that the virus was engineered in a lab in China.

Thank goodness we haven't had a real war to deal with under Trump. He'd probably surrender immediately, cede California, New York, and Washington DC to the enemy while calling our enemy's leader "a terrific guy" and bragging about making a PERFECT deal to end the war.

2020-05-07 3:16:16 PM
"And it never should have happened," says guy who apparently believes that he had nothing to do with how the pandemic played out or could have played out otherwise.

I'm surprised he doesn't claim there are Muslims dancing in the street in New Jersey over coronavirus deaths

As I start to gather notes for annual performance appraisals, I am using a book I bought years ago at the Uniform Shop on base called "The Definitive Performance Writing Guide". It contains bullet point statements, as well as suggested verbiage for superior, above average, effective, below average and unsatisfactory performance. I've never had to use any of the below average ones, but noticed, as the page opened to that section, that if I was writing a performance appraisal of trump, nearly every negative phrase fits him to a t. This farker would not make Senior Airman if he was held to the same standards as military service members.  Pathetic.

(facepalm) He calls it an "attack." He's continuing to shiat out the conspiracy about this being a virus that was created by China to "attack" us. Bullshiat created by Nosferatu, no doubt. President Sniveling Asshole isn't smart enough to strategize. He just repeats the shiat the bald guy tells him to (Nosferatu an/or Putin).

We should at least stop quoting him directly when he uses the word "attack" in reference to this clusterfark.

Stop quoting him. Just stop. Everybody. Obviously, Fox "News" and its ilk will continue to, but everybody else is free to decline to disseminate his bullshiat.

Too bad so many of them opt to continue doing it.

Except that Pearl Harbor and 9/11 were sneak attacks that we had no clue were coming when they hit.  The entire world watched COVID-19 march westward across the globe towards us, in slow motion, for over 3 months, before Trump even did anything of note.

Trump keeps trying to not be the pussy everyone knows he is. That's why he keeps pushing this ridiculous Space Force and he keeps bring up all these war analogies with the pandemic. And of course the vetoing the bill on the war powers with Iran.

That may be true of Pearl Harbor but I know for a fact that on 9/11 he knew exactly....which building was now the tallest in Manhattan.
