Alphax: I'm already getting regular mail, emails, and text from all sorts of political groups.  Seeing a few of them face to face might be nice, but might happen while I'm in bed anyway.

Wow, you must live in a real swing state if canvassers are hopping into bed with you.

My personal silver lining?  It took a global pandemic, but my wife managed to kick her 35 year "Young and the Restless" addiction.  I am at peace.

Subby, that means no orgs that register people to vote, and change addresses for people who have moved. It's usually Dem groups that do it, though they pretend there's no political affiliation. You wouldn't believe how many people who don't change their address and get turned away from the new district they're in.

I'm sure the GOP will be full-force and without masks.  And when they come, I'm going to set up some outdoor misting sprayers for my front porch.  And when they complement, how nice and cool it is on my porch in the late summer heat, I'm going to tell them I have C19 and I filled the mist canisters with my phlegm.
