Andy Dalton is washed up to begin with.

A team just good enough not to be able to draft a stud QB with a well past his prime QB will offer Dalton a 3 year deal and he'll jump.  Colts?

Getting paid millions of dollars per year to sit on the bench for multiple teams. Get it right subby.

Manys the first stringer who sat for a year and came back to win it all.

Journeyman QB can have a long and financially lucrative career which seems like the career path that Dalton is on.  He certainly has shown he can play if a team wanted him for a starter, but at minimum he would certainly provide a solid option if a starter got hurt.

Damn right. Derek Anderson made that work for nearly a decade and a half, and I'd venture that Dalton is at least as good as Anderson was.

Bengals fan
I really like the guy, but he is Jon Kitna 2.0.
300 yards, 100 passer rating and 1 INT, but a perfectly timed INT.

Cowboys got two wins against teams above .500 last year, The Iggles and The Rams (and they were both 9-7).

Jerruh signed Dalton as a Dak Prescott contract negotiation tactic.  If Prescott is mediocre again, Jerruh is going to put Dalton in and there goes the big-time contract Prescott is hoping for.
