Ugh. No.

Private businesses want to do this on Twitter, great, Go for it. Have at it. Have fun! It's entertaining!

Not a fan of the idea of official government feeds doing it, though.

I grew up there, and while I don't plan on moving back it has its charm. Also if you like Italian food and diners I don't know anywhere better to tell you to go. Diners are everywhere, and so is good, reasonably priced Italian food. I live in the DC area now, and while there are diners I like here quite a bit, ones in NJ are a cut above, and it's hard to find Italian food here that's as good but not expensive.

I'd 100% prefer to move back to NJ rather than FL (I've lived in both).

I've enjoyed my visits to NJ.  The people in the Mt Laurel, Cherry Hill, Moorestown area seemed pretty cool.  Lots of trees and greenery.  Atlantic City was kind of depressing.  Haven't been much of elsewhere in the state.

I don't want to wade through frivolousness when I'm looking for official information. For better or worse, Twitter is a common first stop for official information like school closings, or updates on state policies during a state of emergency like right now. One could imagine turning on notifications for alerts of new announcements, but if that included "your mom" tweets with other states, it would dissuade people from doing that.

Back when I started teaching I would write multiple choice tests where each question had a humorous final response. Choices A through E would be realistic answers and then choice F would be "Your Mom." (Or something similar)
My students always enjoyed it and I never had any complaints from parents Or administration. It was a fun to relieve some of the pressure of testing for kids.
Then after one test we were going over the answers and one of my students said, "Oh! I always thought you were saying F your Mom!"
Horrified that someone could read it that way, I switched over to making choice G say "Your Mom" instead. Unfortunately, then during the next test students would ask, "Why isn't there a choice G?" and then I would have to explain to the whole class, "Well it used to be F but then someone thought I meant 'f your Mom' so I changed it to G" and so I eventually stopped doing it altogether.

One of those places was where the president attempted to "be a big player".  I think you can figure out which one that was.  In fact, kind of was a big warning sign.

Should have labeled it 'Z' and framed it as a style decision.
