We used to treat the mentally ill.  Not well, but still.  We didn't let them run around the countryside causing havoc.

He doesn't take a moment to stop and think.

You'd have better luck convincing Trump to donate his golf courses to charity.

"I don't like the things he says and does" says blissfully unaware fool who still supports him.

Fark off back to your swamp.

They like his cruel policies, they just wish he'd be nicer on camera.

I have some serious reservations about voting for Donald Trump now. But I'm willing to have an open mind and give him a chance to prove himself. He may just be new at this, and I don't think it's fair to judge a man by his first 1,200 days in office. He may pivot any day now, and as true Americans, we owe it to the President to give him that opportunity.

You may as well ask grass to stop being green. When it does, it's dead.

2020-05-04 3:05:57 PM
He's going to overuse the phrase "manner of presentation" for a week now.

Trump supporter has apparently never paid attention to anything Trump says or does.

2020-05-04 3:07:16 PM
Sounds like someone just started watching his pressers - wait a minute, he almost never had any, wonder why?

2020-05-04 3:07:54 PM
Because Trump is not an intelligent man.  He was barely articulate when he wasn't on the verge of outright dementia, and now he is obviously mentally impaired.  Being an asshole and a bully allows him to focus his thought enough to make something approaching coherent statements.  And even that is debatable.

So don't expect any change any time soon, lady.

He hasn't faced a real crisis yet, just Democratic hoaxes.  When a real crisis comes, he'll step up, I know it.

Why do people act like he's some fresh face on the scene, who no one has ever heard of before he ran for President? He's been a laughing stock for decades!

On a side note, his continued use of "Democrat" instead of "Democratic" to refer to the part is really, really, clever in his head.

Some of his dimwitted supporters in Florida recently held a "boat  parade" in his honor.

I think that any answer to any question about trump and his family these days would involve banning, a visit from the secret service/FBI and a trip to Gitmo if answered truthfully.

It's clear there is aspects of Trump's behavior that the lady was exposed to that she wasn't aware of in the past. I dunno. There are Trump supporters I have zero empathy for because they are miligned assholes who are as selfish as the President is.

However, the lady who posed the question seems more of a "bless-your-heart" kind of lady. Who generally is usually going to vote Republican because of God, America, and Apple Pie. She lives a good life and feels like God blessed it. She probably will be really friendly to anyone who came up to her.

It's just someone who has never lives outside of their own personal worldview/bubble. So of course she is going to vote for Trump like she would any Republican.

I digress. It starts getting sad when you have to explain that this kind of stuff never ends. This kind of stuff never goes away. This is literally who he is.

You know what Trump liked the question? Because this is what he heard:

"President Trump, my husband and I think you, your family and your staff for your great dedication to our country. We pray for you every day. The question I have is about your manner of presentation. Why do you use descriptive words that could be classified as bullying, and why do you not directly answer the questions asked by the press, but instead speak of past successes and generally ramble? USA needs you! Please let go of those behaviours that are turning people away from you. Please hold on to your wonderful attributes that make you our great leader and let go of other characteristics that do not serve you"

"... And I feel that if I was kind to them, I'd be walked off the stage!"

It was unclear exactly whom Mr Trump thought he would be "walked off the stage" by, but he continued.

He all but admits he has handlers at this point.

I've had a long-standing thought. The conditions of the Border Camps have not changed. In fact I just think there is less attention and less attention means its going to be much much worse. When Trump is out of office we are going to be confronted with horrific and criminal levels of conditions at these camps.

She strikes me as a lady who is generally horrified and will say, "I had no idea this was happening!"

Frankly, I think the battle against the coronavirus is basically lost.  All these manufactured protests are only the beginning.  States are going to have to roll back the quarantines because frankly, Americans are not accustomed to being told no.  We operate on the assumption that we have unlimited choices, unlimited options, and whether we choose to or not, we can pretty much go anywhere we want at anytime.  In just the last week, I've seen traffic in and around Boston going up steadily, which means people are voluntarily breaking quarantine either out of desire or necessity.  I can't see how government, even here in liberal Massachusetts is going to be able to hold the line.

So what does that mean?  Acceptance of a higher risk of death as the price we pay for not being told no.  For a lady like this, not being personally affected by all the shiatty things in the country creates a reality distortion field that screens out unpleasant things and Donald Trump's worst nature.  But the potential for that reality distortion field to affect everybody is there.  I have a feeling that until somebody experiences the effect of this virus on themselves or a loved one, they don't really believe it is a threat.

And frankly, going forward we will all adjust and say, oh well, at least I can go to work, get my hair cut, and buy a latte the way I used to do.

And then wonder why when your pealing the banana
They didn't put enough cheese on it....

"Gosh golly geewizz, mr President. We just think the world of you and pray for you and just want to schlarp up your nutsweat. But, see, the thing is we're scared because this virus might be bad for us, what with Cooter's beetis and my renal failure. Could you maybe just answer some questions that are being asked without turning into a hateful rant? I mean, we hate them reporters too. What with being fake news and mean to you and all. Again, we really want to schlarp up your nutsweat. Thank you."

"MUST BE ASSHOLE! WHAT STUPID QUESTION! YOU ARE ALSO FAKE NEWS!"

"Thank you me President. We understand and we'll keep praying for you. You can count on our support in November. The nutsweat schlarping offer stands, by the way."

People have been ignoring the fark out of the orders.  I've seen 4-5 frat bro's hanging out on balconies of our building (1-2brs), hell we saw a literal party (15-20 people) going on in one of the 700 sq ft apts across the street.  Basketball games so often that the hoops were removed last week.  10 people holding a wedding ceremony in the park.

Our stay at home order was extended to May 18 last Thursday, and I would like to extend a big 'fark you' to violators that help to make the last 6 weeks a huge waste of time.

Trumpers deluded there's a shining gem if we strip away his uncouthness.

Narcissism, rambling, bragging, gaslighting..... these aren't baggage, they the CORE of his personality.

Strip them away and you'd have an empty snake skin.

Wow, the softest of softball questions.  A question that a six-year-old could hit out of any MLB ballpark....and Trump still can't get past being a clown.

Yeah, many MAGAts will still vote for his pathetic ass but I wonder how many, even MAGAts, are starting to realize what Frankenstein realized when his monster was unleashed on the world.
