Chincoteague Island has literally nothing to do in the off-season.  There are some seafood places, one or two bars and a cool little farmer's market type place.  Other than that - not jack.  Wallops Island is nearby but it is not open to the public.  Either do a quick drive across the Maryland border for some booze or find a church.  There is not much else.

They are not morons.  They just find it expedient to act like morons and take up moron causes.  That means they are more dangerous than simple morons would be.

Because I sure as shiat can't find that one.

And constitutional rights were NEVER absolute. Getting in front of another person and screaming, "I'm gonna mutha farkin' KILL YOU!" is still assault and can result in arrest, indictment and conviction by the state.

It's a balancing test between the government's interest and personal liberty interest.  No right is absolute.  The social distancing requirements seem to fall squarely within Employment Division.

You know, you're absolutely right.

Say,a bunch of religions say girls should be forced into marriage at the age of 12 and bedded. The government should overlook that too.

Said it before when this all started and I'll say it again: if you must go to a specific building to worship your god, you aren't worshipping your god, you're worshipping the building.

I guess the congregation has been told they have to go to church to keep from turning gay.

Liberty Council puts a lot of effort into defending the religious freedom to hate gays etc.

When did that happen?  There are about 200 years of jurisprudence that say otherwise, including jurisprudence on the right of states to enforce a quarantine despite the fact that it may interfere with rights(and commerce).

A statement from the DOJ in response to its support of the church suit says that 'the Commonwealth of Virginia has offered no good reason for refusing to trust congregants who promise to use care in worship in the same way it trusts accountants, lawyers, and other workers to do the same,' reports Fox News.

Eyeroll.
That said, not sure this is the hill I would have chosen to die on regarding enforcement.  Less than 20 people in a huge space (with no proof against their argument that they kept plenty of space between them) isn't worth letting these Attention whores get to attention whore (and martyr) at a national level.

No, it doesn't. Like everything else in it, it says one thing in one place and the opposite thing in another place.

That's the great thing about religious texts written by random people over a long period of time who aren't accountable for anything they put in it. If you don't like the rules that are laid out in one place, just flip a few pages forward to find where it contradicts itself in the way you prefer.
