Hey, it's a brand new month and I have eight shiny new months of TF to give away! Read some of my awful web serial and comment there (linking me back to your profile here!) or comment here and just ask -  it's easy! Any money I don't spend on subscriptions will be donated to keep FARK alive at the end of the month. If you don't need a subscription but you'd like to keep FARK alive, there are lots of new ways to support, if you click "Support Fark" in the sidebar there.

FARK needs money and I need clicks, so I'm at least going to keep this up through May. Beyond that, I'll assess based on interest. I'm not getting insane amounts of traffic, so the site shouldn't be FARKed. Check your security settings and extensions, please.

Tin Soldier is free to read.  You can hit up the New Readers page for a quick summary and places to pick up the story, or you can read from the very beginning. I'm a one person operation, so you will find typos and missing art. I'm putting out text only volumes for people with vision or sensory issues - free for Patrons in EPUB, PDF and Kindle format, or $1 for the PDFs in my store because that's all I can upload there. You will also find one instance of pornography for sale cheap, but I wouldn't start from there, if I were you.

I'll visit the thread if it greens and do an AMA if anyone wants. In-character answers available upon request, if anyone is that invested. Or you could post ponies. Do you miss the ponies? I sure do.

This week: The ten-year-old, grossly overpowered and overeducated heir to a military dynasty visits the street school and learns how we deal with tall poppies. Shout-out to all the Hermiones out there.

Give Tin Soldier a click and you'll see Maggie say: "Welcome to school, everyone! I'm gonna stand here and smile at you like my life depends on it while being relentlessly positive!"

(Re: The Illustration: My apologies to anyone who had managed to block out the memory of the musical remake of Lost Horizon. I have no taste.)

I laughed with you because your post above reads just like the New Readers page thereby validating your identity as the author (at least in my eyes).  I'll check it out, looking forward to it.

I hope I'm not being too impertinent, but like Scotty under restriction to quarters, this seems like the perfect time to catch up on my technical manuals.

Your words follow a logical pattern and sequence. There's nothing wrong with that, but I'm always attracted to surprises.

"He was a tall man with a military bearing which he threw in the air and caught."...
