FAKE NEWS!
There's no way he spent so much time on condolences for the victims.

Unless it's how he's the biggest victim in all of this and how just yesterday he was talking to a farmer/Navy SEAL who's the biggest, toughest guy who never cried once in his life but was weeping as he thanked Trump for saving America, and in the same sentence Trump pivots to how he hasn't left the White House once since Christmas.

It has since gone very sad. Even checking today a lot of the same user names are there. They are sad, lonely people that have no one to care for or be cared by. Money and hate is all they know and they are the exact type that is attending the protests. they don't care about anyone else because no one cares about them

Hey thanks everyone who voted for this asshole. The blood of dead Americans is on your hands.

And it isn't like we didn't try to warn you.

You were horrible people in 2016. I think some of you belatedly realized what idiots and selfish pieces of shiat you had been and now hate trump and that's great, but the damage you did cannot be undone.

Look, if Trump could just find some magical thing that just got rid of this without any work it'd be awesome for his reelection campaign. So who are you to stop him from dreaming about doing that out loud and pretending it's real?

(Not so much a typo as the fact that I changed the sentence around and forgot to change the verb.)

Most of these uber right wing assholes are their own worst enemies.

CSB: on another forum back in the day that was ostensibly for singles (this was before okcupid or tinder existed) this right wing idiot went full hate radio on everyone, insulting all of us, trolling, making dog whistle statements, just riling up people in general.

A few weeks later I was at a party and this chick started talking to me about forum drama and I mentioned this guy.

Turns out she was dating him at the time and was appalled at his behavior and dumped him for trashing all these people, many of whom she considered her friends.

He found no woman willing to date him as others would gladly send them screen captures of his diatribes.

Last I heard he was living in a hovel by himself.

There is a whole subreddit called Leopards Eating Faces and it is sometimes amusing.

LL316: I can definitely see why some people are on the fence about Biden.

Anyone whining about Biden needs to grow up.

I don't care who Trump's opponent is.  I vote for Ted Cruz over Trump.

That said, it's wrongheaded to compare Biden to Ted Cruz.  Biden is good.  He's not flashy, but he's good, and he's going to be about as good as we could hope for, provided our hopes are realistic.  If we flip the senate, we could even get universal healthcare.

Now, that said, I've been reading the latest Neal Stephenson novel.  One of the early plot threads in that book was about how the internet was fundamentally broken and society was operating in a sort of post-truth mode, where idiots, most of whom weren't even actual humans, would control the dialogue on the internet by posting insane conspiracy theories and advocating for whatever seemed to be the dumbest ideas possible.

A character in the book decides to flush the refuse down the drain by drowning out Crazytown with a vast network of bots, with the idea being that posting more and more and more stupid stuff on the internet would cause people to stop trusting the idiots.

This doesn't work, because putting more idiocy on the internet just causes the residents of Crazytown to believe it even more.

My point is that we're pretty much already at that point when it comes to all of the pro-Trump and anti-Biden posts that show up everywhere.

You'd think that Trump opening his hamberder hole to spout nonsense every single day would cause people to stop believing him after a while, but the effect has just been that people are getting dumber and dumber and dumber, and the disease is spreading.

Now it seems like even these old, half-dead internet forums are infested with the rot.

He uses this constantly.  Listen to this fool talk for more than three minutes and it's nothing more than moronic  adjectives, often superlatives, such as HUGE, GREAT, BEST, BIGGEST, or BIGLY, and BIG FAT (strangely enough as something desirable). D2s is incapable of dealing with subtleties, or nuances. Everything must be exaggerated and depicted in terms of black and white.

That's a sign of how bad things are going.

During his presidency he's only really done two things: brag and whine. In the first couple of years, while he was still gliding on Obama's achievements, his focus was on bragging. But as things have dragged on and as he's ruined more and more things around him the whining has taken over.

This is because that one quack from television decided to go out in public and misinterpret a study from a few months ago, and Trump, of course, is too dumb to figure out why that's idiotic?

Seriously, why do we have to be the only country in the world having these discussions right now?

You and they got that backwards. No one cars about them because they don't care about anyone else.

It's sad that you give them credit for caring and being rejected first when it is more than likely the other way around for the majority of them. Selfish assholes create a self-fulfilling prophecy of negative feedback. They start negative, attack anyone who tries to help them and end up alienated.
