Didn't even bother with the first one. I don't care how scary they are, there's no way they can even compete with the artwork from the books...

I looked away from my screen for a moment. When I turned back and saw this headline, I thought I was on the Pol tab and said, "now what did he say?"

They can't, but they came pretty close.

First one was pretty damn solid. I wish they'd get away from the whole "the stories in the book are happening" since it makes it seem like it's a Goosbumps movie copy, which kind of it is, but it works better for this and is way better executed. Fan of the books growing up and the first did not disappoint, especially the hospital scene.

Damn - I loved the first one. Looking forward to more. :)

I agree. Honestly I wouldn't mind it as several creepshow-styled shorts. They don't need to be tied together necessarily.

I never saw the first one yet, but I have read the books growing up and now to my little girl and I love them. I was afraid the movie was gonna suck and ruin it.

The scariest one I remember was the thing counting it's way up the stairs.

Definitely, that is exactly what I would want if I had my way. Still, I'll be there for the second opening weekend. Especially since Guillermo is still involved.

Perhaps, Tales if you will. They can be told from a Crypt!

I liked the first one, was pleasantly surprised.  Now I off to watch Creepshow.

For a second I thought this was an announcement for the next season of Dark.

June can't come soon enough.
