There is a vicious rumor in my neighborhood that the local Target has an entire row filled with toilet paper.

This thought did not used to fill me with excitement.

Still not a fan of walmart, but their supply chain rocks.

No pork is not their fault.

My local Target has a whiteboard inside the first set of double doors that shows whether or not they have any of about a dozen essentials, from toilet paper to hand soap and sanitizer to face masks to acetaminophen.

Here, try this:

It's not perfect, and it's not an absolute guarantee, but I've used it and had reasonably good luck.

It helped me score some terlet paper at a local Walgreens yesterday. I had to hit the place 'round 9 AM and the timing was the key.

Thanks. The problem is, that site draws from the retailer's website, and target.com has been way off. They said they had Lysol (and not limited availability) while I was standing right there looking at an empty shelf. Later visit, same thing with thermometers.

I found TP and isopropyl alcohol at Walgreens at 3 pm one day. I was there for something else and was pleasantly surprised. The iso alcohol was kept behind the counter. The cashier asked if I found everything okay, and I said I couldn't find iso anywhere. She then told me they keep it behind the counter.

Yeah the websites are not always "with it".

I've worked in retail for a long time now and can reassure you that Target is horrible at restocking even on a good day.
