Don't forget webcams, brand new they are unavailable and even secondhand ones are overpriced. I bought a C920 last year and there seems to have been at least a 50% markup since then,

Purple, as of today. Always been tempted to do it, so what better time? If it's hideous (just washed it out, actually), no problem with staying indoors.

Yeah all the salons are closed here, so - makes sense.

Luckily our friends own a daycare with a monthly TP subscription.  They had a ton in a closet.

For baking I only make pizza dough each week but I had a good amount of yeast and flour in the house.  I started a sourdough starter just in case though, should be ready by Monday.  I looked around and there is no Active Dry yeast anywhere online.

The ham buying is because it's Easter.  It always spikes the week before Easter.  Last year it was on April 21 so next week they're going to say that ham sales are falling compared to last year.

I, too, stocked up on about a years supply.

Must stay fashionable in my home, damnit!

I'm in my 60's and blessed, or is it cursed, with a full head of thick hair.  I have a beard trimmer, and I'm seriously considering setting it to number 4 and just mowing my entire scalp.  It won't be stylish, but I don't give a rats ass.

I thought of dying my hair, but I'd look even more ridiculous than I already do, so I'm keeping it blonde.

I've been trimming my beard and cutting my hair at home for years. But now I can wear a Balacava over my mistakes and not look like a total tool!

Plus, face masks totally cover my "beard".

It's as if I have been prepping for this global catastrophe since 1969 or 1973 perhaps.

I got my first electric shaver when I was 13 and I still have it and it still works like crap! But I am afraid to give it away before I have a third one.

I was thinking either Grecian formula or Minoxodil. Do you know you can buy three months worth of that shiat for $15 a month? Sure, it's probably US funds. But $15 a month. What I am paying for Canadian Netflix and not watching more than once or twice a month.

But the women feel that they will know, before they die, that is. Women and men are totally different animals, except when they aren't.

Think like a woman. It might save your sanity. Or at least reduce your thighs so you don't chafe without assless chaps.

I sometimes see an older lady that has the type of hairstyle that requires her to visit the stylist once a week to get it "set".  These ladies have to be at wits end by now.

60
Week 3 full beard.
Girlfriend is into hobo sex now. She is sporting a "skunk doo" (white roots 1 inch either side of center part)

I just hope the deodorant holds out. Even I have standards.

Kool aid will work in a pinch. Wet your hair and comb it in.

I found active yeast in a restaurant wholesaler. It is in 1lb bags.

I finally have an excuse to grow out my scrawny, old-man pony-tail. I've been threatening to do it for years and been met with a slow shake of the head but there's no stopping me now. It's almost there... Bwahahahahahah!

My hair is dark brown with the exactly correct number of gray hairs peppering it for a 36 year old man because I am the medium by which all others should be judged.  A man with lines in his face and uniform hair color looks ridiculous.

As for the clippers, I've already considered breaking mine out...

i quit dying my hair insane colors (mostly bright magenta tinged red) 5 years ago. i now have some bright silver grays on a golden light brown. and i like that. but i DID cut my own hair last weekend.

and i must say i did a good job, took about 2.5 inches off all around from my mostly chin length bob.

BUT from age 19-24 i always cut my own short hair, and i still had professional shears, and texturizing shears, and clips on hand. and those 5 years of practice. even if the last time i cut my own hair was the early 90s.

still, i felt really proud that the result wasn't anything i was unhappy with. and it was GREAT to get my hair off of my neck. i HATE my own hair touching my neck or face.

Currently a teal color. Maybe a little more blue than teal.

You can get that on Amazon as well for about $14 a pound.  I've got a bag of SAF red that I've kept in the freezer in a ziplock bag since 2017 and it's still good.  I used some earlier this week.  I top up a little 4 oz jam jar I keep in the fridge.  I've read that you can use it straight from the freezer but haven't tried that.

Three tones, blue middle, mousey blonde roots, bleached blonde ends.

I have tons of colors that I stockpiled way before corona even happened.

I started losing my hair in my early 20s and have just been doing the Jason Stratham ever since. I go over it once every few days with a trimmer with no guard. I shave my head clean for formal events.

This works great...I save a lot of money although the time probably works out even. In any case, with situations like this or where there's no barber nearby, it's not really an issue. I never have to think about going to get a haircut.

As tempting as it may be in our present circumstances, please do not attempt to color your hair with ham.

Been taking minoxidil tabs for years for blood pressure. Not sure if it's done anything to slow down my baldness, but I grow hair from my nostrils thick and strong enough to be used for rigging a tall ship.

I sell herbal hair dyes on Etsy (NightBlooming is my store name if anyone's curious) and holy shiat, I started getting slammed four weeks ago for hair colors. Women not being able to go to the salon to get their hair colored has my little store up 115%+ YoY for the last 30 days. It's insane.

Pick one length on the trimmer, go to town on your head, then pick half that, and go to town on the sides. Done.
