Those sound good but leave me less vodka for the tonic.  Of course, that may be moot as I'm running low on tonic and it is being bought out by morons.

/Ok, I may actually try that drunken shrimp this very evening as I have everything - thanks subby.

I use cheap sake plus a tablespoon of this as a quick marinade for shrimp.

Just because, the pasta Alla vodka recipe in the link didn't specify what type of pasta to use (other than tubular), use penne. Thank me later.

Use it in pie crust so that the starch doesn't hydrate and the crust stays flaky.

"Basically tasteless, vodka adds opulence .."
Nope. Stopped reading there. Anyone who thinks vodka doesent have flavors and tastes so varied isnt anyone I want the opinion of.

How hot is the hot? My kid loves the Food Network Jamaican Jerk sauce but the stores around here stopped carrying it and I can't find another good one. I don't want to burn his taste-buds out.

Very little goes a long way, too much and it'll make any dish inedible. It works well withe cheaper cuts of pork, dark meat chicken, even venison, I've even used as substitute for curry on a lamb dish and it turned out great.

Well, cool, I ordered some. I thought it was a sauce, but a seasoning works and I can do portion control/water it down for a marinade. Thanks for the recommendation.

Obviously, but they just pour it into food?
Farking animals!
And then their "bonus recipe of a drink" includes instant coffee.

That there is an entire gene trail that needs to be deleted.

It's more of a moist rub, so it should late you a good while.

/Enjoy=)

That schitt is awesome, although I stick to the mild... the wild will smoke my cheeks for days.

For a pound of shrimp, this is our goto:

1T J Jerk
2T Teriyaki sauce
1T Garlic juice
S&P if...

You definitely can paste it on straight, but 1:1 with wine is better.
(been using it for decades)

Best recipe for vodka:

Open vodka
Pour down drain
Go to the store and buy a bottle of something fit for someone who isn't a 19 year old sorority girl or some degenerate russian

I've only just begun to sample vodak. So far I like Crystal Head and Belvedere. Different ingredients / flavors.
