Anyone with information about this investigation is asked to contact the sheriff's department.

Hmm...Spidey usually leaves a note.

Wait- did I read that bail figure correctly? $2,195,000?

If someone didn't forget a decimal point somewhere, that dude must have an interesting history with law enforcement.

Was this person covered with a white, ropy, sticky substance?

If so, I might suspect Spiderman. Or John Holmes.

Once in the '80s in my hometown, they found a guy outside a bar with his hand nailed to a telephone pole.  They concluded there was some kind of misunderstanding involved.

Well, what would you set bail for Vehicular Assault and Attempted Murder, along with probably multiple other felony assault charges?

I mean, I don't doubt that dude has a criminal past that affected bail, given that his mugshot looks like he's smoked meth for 50 years by the time he's 29. But this isn't an accident. He got into an argument with the victim, got into his car, and intentionally ran the guy over.

Hey- there are very good reasons I'm not in charge of such things.

I'm not saying I want him making bail, because, let's face it, he seems an unlikely candidate for showing up to court. I am saying it just struck me as a pretty impressive figure likely indicating he's not exactly unfamiliar with the legal system.

So... yeah, they know he's a runner and they're not taking any chances.

That hyphen in Spider-Man always bothered me.
