American's always rally behind their leadership during a crisis.

That's why the average approval rating of State Governors is 72% right now.

It's because we know who is leading the response, and who isn't.

I was surprised that number 1 wasn't "Scream that it is a hoax for a month and do nothing." But hey it was nice of him to let the CDC put their logo on there real small.

That's real? I saw it before and thought it was a joke. But of course I should have known that the world's biggest narcissist would just HAVE to get HIS name there at the top.

Fncking choad.

He's activity trying to get his name on the relief checks that are supposed to go out. So that idiots will think he is paying them directly.

....and his bump lasted like what, a week?

Everything he does is either for his personal benefit, his idiot 30% cult base, and for his regional manager VVP.
They may like to see his dimwit Mussolini act, sneering at the press and constantly lie-bragging, but it's just
a daily showcase of fuk-upery.

More recently, George H.W. Bush's approval rating shot up from 58 percent in early January 1991, to as high as 87 percent following the climax of Operation Desert Storm,

And somewhere some chode close to him will remind him of this.

Ishkur: Purple_Urkle: Every time I read "rally 'round" I hear the song Bull on Parade in my head.

Fun fact: Rage Against The Machine guitar noises is the best form of political argument.

Next time someone gets in your face about some political topic, simply retort with "BOW WOW WHITCHA BOW WOW WHITCHA WHITCHA WHITCHA". You will win, every time.

You jest, but guitars have long been hated and feared by the enemy.

There is no practical use for don the con unless you are in his family. He takes taxpayer money to support the wealthy businesses that provide income indirectly to his family.

You couldn't even make dog food out of him.
Even dogs would turn their nose up at him.

Ok, that's conjecture. I hope we can get funding to test the hypothesis.

cameroncrazy1984: Good can we farking get over the "he'll get re-elected" bullshiat now?

Not until you can find a foolproof way to stop the GOP from gaming the electoral college.
We all know that the majority of Americans are going to vote against him.
That's not enough, in this scenario.

scottydoesntknow: Donald Trump isn't benefiting from what political scientists refer to as a "rally 'round the flag" effect

Most Americans realize the flag he wants them to rally around is not the American flag.

But it is red, white and blue!

When Rasmussen polls him in the low 40s, before their bias adjustment, you know he's sliding.
