flondrix: Brettster808: I saw her featured on the original CNN "Weed" special with Sanjay Gupta. She had ongoing seizures daily and a CBD strain grown by some brothers in Colorado with no THC stopped them.  The brothers originally thought, who in the world would want a pot strain with no THC?  It ended up being exactly what she needed so they named the stain after her.  A sad ending to a hopeful story.

A strain with no THC?  So, can people with condition like hers be treated with the CBD oil that is now available darn near everywhere, and no longer need the special strain?

Theoretically, yes. But to clarify, you can't grow a weed plant with absolutely no THC. There's going to be a little bit. But a lot of those tinctures and such do use CBD isolate.

But if you're asking because you or someone you know could benefit from it, just get some hemp flower and make your own tinctures or edibles (or smoke it, which is what I do). It's astronomically cheaper that way.

Yes, but they created the Charlotte's Web strain before CBD oil was available almost literally everywhere.  In fact it was the publicity from her case that lead to the popularity of CBD products.

She tested negative for COVID but she died of Corona virus? Subby needs to chill. "Maybe" and "close enough" is not dying from the virus. She was a girl who had severe seizures her whole life so maybe that's what killed her.
