You would think after getting owned by Jon Stewart both Cramer and Carlson would have just gone away.

Jim Cramer shouldn't be telling anyone anything after the Bear Sterns fiasco.

Except that verbal takedowns don't really do anything.  It's a progressive fantasy - one that I've fallen for over the decade.  The whole West Wing/Newsroom/Stewart/Colbert method of intellectually dismantling an opponent and expecting them to drop their head and walk away in shame.  It's a total fantasy.  It does a great job of making us feel righteous, but it changes exactly zero people's minds, doesn't get a single person holding that ideology to drop it, and the person being torched returns to the same lies and BS they've been spewing for years, entirely unaffected.

At most, you get a Crossfire cancellation, which was a show already falling off and about to be cancelled, Then they just move to other venues.  Tucker got MORE attention after the Stewart grenade.  Every takedown of Rush, Beck, etc did nothing.  Economy slushers like Cramer have an audience that isn't affected by ideological face-stomping.

The only real way to weaken them and their message is to a) get ad revenue pulled, and b) getting organizations to stop hosting their content and make them so toxic no one can pick them up (Daily Stormer and Richard Spencer approaches).
