A month ago it was only just becoming clear that 2020 would be remembered as the year of the coronavirus instead of the year of getting a perfect score on an eye test.

These will be the opening statements in his trial.

The idea that every one of those tweets will someday live on forever in the Dolt-45 Lie-berry as a teaching moment for the future brings joy to this very dark timeline inhabitant.

That was interesting. I'm now more sad than I was before reading that.

March 2

A Brief History of March 2, 2020
Youtube pfTGEWbd4y8

"Later that morning, Trump met with Colombia's President Iván Duque Márquez, and fielded some questions from the press that involved his response to the coronavirus crisis, insisting that it was "very safe" for him to continue to hold political rallies while covid-19 was circulating through the population. "

"Sean Hannity said that the H1N1 epidemic was worse than covid-19, and pinned the blame on President Barack Obama for "20,000 of our fellow Americans hospitalized, more than 1,000 dead." "

"The FDA commissioner, Dr. Stephen Hahn, spoke at the press conference to announce that by the end of that week, which was March 6, a million tests would be performed. That milestone wasn't reached until March 31, according to the best data being compiled right now. "

Don't forget this stuff.

A month ago people were still saying "Well, it can't get any worse!" and yet here we are.

/Don't overestimate Trump.

In short order revisionist history will kick in and any doubts you have regarding the efficacy of republican leadership will be replaced with a strong desire to let everyone you encounter know how enthusiastically you have embraced the truth that 2 plus 2 equals 5.

Okay, the article lists:

What President Trump Was Saying
What Fox News Was Saying
What the Task Force Was Saying
What Wall Street Was Saying
What Twitter Ghouls Were Saying

We know that these are people who don't know anything about anything (particularly the one at the top). What I'd like to know is for comparison, what were the actual experts saying on March 2? Would've been nice to have had that in the article too.

He's been a bit off since he got H1N1 and has been the primary doctor on the Adam Carolla Show. No real highlights and reasonable sort of, worse than Joe Rogan's Doctor better than the health ranger on alex jones

We were already getting orders from companies and government to ramp it down in King County Washington a month ago.

Nothing "official" but King County was telling everyone stay at home if you can, avoid crowds.

Farking Dr Drew... Why do people continue to listen to this guy? Loveline was awesome, something great to listen to when I was closing out the restaurant, but not someone I'd look to for pandemic advice.

Puget sound campuses of MSFT and Amazon moved to 'suggested' WFH for non-essential staff the evening of the 4th.

I gotta stop reading things like this a couple of hours before bed. I work from home but I still have to check at the same time as if it were the office. Anger and anxiety are not good at night

this was respected expert dr drew on march 26th.  still claiming it was overblown by the media and we need to part ourselves on the back and feel good about our response so far.

Just kidding, that was in March.

Huh. I was sick with a fever, chills, extreme fatigue, and body aches. And spending my waking moments telling myself it couldn't be COVID-19, because there couldn't possibly be any community acquired infections in north San Diego County. Really hoping that I did have it because it means I have a chance at some immunity and a much lower chance of passing it to my 74 year old mother with T2 diabetes and no thyroid.
