Yet America First Action, the principal pro-Trump super PAC that has received the blessing of the White House, has been quiet. While the administration and reelection campaign focus on developing a daily message surrounding the crisis, senior Trump aides contend the super PAC should be leading the charge against Biden.

Hard to produce something when you have nothing to work with.

"President Trump is doing his job protecting American citizens and that's where his focus is."

WTF? WTF?

2020-03-26 11:36:23 AM
Another thing no one has ever heard of suddenly becomes Trumps primary focus.

2020-03-26 12:18:09 PM
Trump is getting hammered by millions of dollars in Democratic campaign ads depicting his response to the coronavirus as negligent and inept.

It is expensive to fight facts.

2020-03-26 12:33:44 PM
"There is a major vacuum on the political front right now, with the White House focused on coronavirus response and the campaign, rightly so, echoing the White House," said Chris LaCivita, who as chief strategist of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth orchestrated the 2004 John Kerry takedown.

This guy is still around?  And he's a vehement Trump supporter?  What a piece of shiat...and the pinnacle of emotional bias.

When the bodies start to pile up in red states, what are the odds they'll start blaming the Libs for deliberately spreading it? Or are they doing that already?

I thought PACs were independent and didn't coordinate?

There is nothing they can say or do to make Trump look good. That's where they are.

Trump allies said they felt deserted by the group, America First Action, openly questioning why it's leaving Trump exposed on the airwaves at the most vulnerable moment of his presidency.

Maybe, it's just possible, that they don;t want to be thought of as aiding and abetting murder? Yanno, just spitballin' here.

2020-03-26 1:11:39 PM
They're not pulling in a lot of money there at America First, and that means they need to pay themselves first. fark You I Got Mine doesn't work otherwise.

Lol the President's "Air cover"

Ok Meal Team 6.

If the combined blows of Saudi Arabia tanking the price of oil by flooding the market and COVID-19 really send Russia down the shiatter, it'll be highly interesting to see what affect that has on the right wing here.

Donald Trump is getting hammered by millions of dollars in Democratic campaign ads depicting his response to the coronavirus as negligent and inept.

He should be hammered about his incompetence!

In a day or two, the US will surpass China in number of Corvid-19 cases.

China has 3 times the population of the US.  The US had a month to watch the virus in China before it hit the US.  Instead of using that time to prepare, Trump was accusing the democrats blowing it out of proportion for political reasons.

Not likely.  A solid chunk of the entire Republican platform is a complete and utter lack of empathy, morality, ethics, or conscience.  The one, and literally only, saving grace of the Trump administration has been a clown-shoes/goat-rodeo/dumpster-fire/bag-of-hammers level of stupid and incompetency.

Imagine the malevolence of the Republican party with someone competent and charismatic in charge.

That should frighten the fark out of you.

Some of these GOPers are realizing their money is best spent elsewhere in the near future.

Remember how the 2007 crash was a hoax to get Obama elected until it was caused by Obama being elected?

Best thing for them really, as they had a face not even a mother could love.

Getting harder for them to defend the moron ..

2020-03-26 1:17:18 PM
They're smart.
His fark-ups and the consequences are center stage right now.
The super-PACs are banking on this being over by mid-summer, plenty of time between then and November for this to fade from the memories enough to give him a fighting chance.
They'll have a massive war-chest and will absolutely flood the media with his visage.

This actually frightens me.

Short of Ronald Reagan coming back from the dead Easter Sunday or the Dow Jones hitting 35k there is no way, and I mean no way to spin the past 12 months into Trump's favor. With everything he has said and done the damage is already done.

Then again if they manage to spin American dead bodies into their favor I'll be pleasantly surprised.

By many people.
Many people tell me that.

Hahaha.  The White house is in no way 'focused on the coronavirus response', unless you mean that they're focused on mitigating the damage resulting from their shiatty, shiatty response.  They're focused on controlling the message about the direct results of their gross incompetence and inability to understand the purpose and nature of the government.

You'd think with a month's heads up, we wouldn't be poised to become #1 on the leader board for deaths, wouldn't you?  Hey, I know: No testing=no coronavirus deaths!

Brilliant.  Go back to work.

They're afraid that the perception that the potus was an inept failure during the nation's time of crisis "will get baked in". Lol. That is indeed the problem, isn't it. Unless you plan a propaganda campaign out of 1984 its gonna be pretty hard working around that patently, obvious-everday-he-does-a-presser, truth. 😂

This is already happening.  "Right now we need to come together, as Americans, and listen to our leaders" is something I've been seeing on facebook.  It's all the left wing trying to win easy points at the cost of america.  Ignoring that if the advice your leader gives is bad, you A. shouldn't listen to it.  B. shop around for a new leader.

"The economy is just--no, no, wait... Employment figures! Employment figures are--whoops, there they go..."

I don't know why anyone would bother to cherry-pick. History shows that the party has no problem lying directly to our faces and his base just eats it up. Trump could tell a red-stater that his grandmum didn't really die of COVID and the red-stater would agree with him.

Trump is providing attack ad material on a daily basis every time he holds one of his stupid pressers aka mini rallies.

If her were smart he would let the doctors and scientists hold the press conferences and stay away.  Ohhhhhh, I see the problem with that plan.

Whoops, I meant that bit as the republican talking points about valid criticism.

The left pointing out valid F ups is viewed as them trying to score political points.

Sorry for the confusion.

But some White House and campaign aides are concerned that left unanswered, the Democratic ad campaign will bake in the perception that Trump bungled the coronavirus response.

The perception, you fetid sacks of gerbil schitt? How about the REALITY!
And he continues to... and all you can think of is retaining power rather than helping the people you work for, the people who pay your wage.
This is truly revolting.
