I'm way more conscious of touching my face when I am out and around other people (doing essential tasks, like getting food).
If I need to scratch an itch, I use my sleeve, or wait until after I've wash my hands.

When I am at home (where I spend most of my time now), I wash hands frequently and am less concerned about face-touching, though I still try to keep it to a minimum.

When I take my glasses off, I never needed to touch my nose or mouth, and avoid touching my face at all now.

The hand-washing is the most effective thing you can do to stay safe.
It's not everything, but it mitigates a lot of the others.

If your wife is sitting on your face, you can't touch it, amirite?

I don't think it was the face touching that did in Brian Keith.
