Dirt don't vote.

Landmass support?  Is Virginia in danger of breaking off and floating over to Europe or Africa?

FortyHams: Dirt don't vote.

Pretty sure it did in 2016.

2020-03-13 10:49:35 AM
Apparently the Dems won the majority of votes only because they allowed shale and granite to vote. If land masses couldn't vote, it would be a Republican state!

Donations to his failed ministry must be down.

THAT is the part people need to be talking about. And there was zero push back from the anchors.

Yes.  But seeing all that red in county maps makes the idiots who watch that show feel better.

Right? I mean, this happens at least 3 or 4 times a week now.

You mean the gerrymandered land mass?

2020-03-13 10:56:24 AM
Why is that guy on TV in the first place?

2020-03-13 10:56:47 AM
Oh no, the majority is passing laws Cletus don't cotton to!

2020-03-13 10:58:04 AM
Yeah, what do we think we're doing, letting people who aren't even landed gentry vote? What is this world coming to?

2020-03-13 10:58:33 AM
LOL.  If that's the best you got, you've already lost.

Gaia, Mother Earth, furious with mankind rose up in 2016 to ensure the election of Donald Trump and thus leave us at the mercy of her wrath.

It does in the Senate.

Jerry Jr. is very familiar with polling.

His pool boy does it to him all the time.

Surely; this is why I moved to Iowa three years ago.

They're working on it.

It's like some divine being from another dimension read a copy of the Onion, and decided that's what this world should actually be like.

2020-03-13 11:07:17 AM
Will no one think of the landed gentry???

2020-03-13 11:07:19 AM
His continued existence proves that God either doesn't exist or is just a total asshole.

Virginia passed what is, in my opinion, the best set of gun regulations possible. It was a package of measures that are likely to be effective, while a rejection of the one thing that I have never supported (an assault weapons ban). The state also ratified the ERA, expanded reproductive rights protections, improved voting rights protections, enacted LGBT protections, rolled back a number of "morality" laws and passed a clean energy bill.

If this is what Democratic control is going to look like, it is what I want nationwide.

2020-03-13 11:08:11 AM
They're *still* stuck on the idea of landowners having the most say because of the amount of dirt they own, and non-landowners should just bite the pillow and hope it's over soon.

Subtonic: Will no one think of the landed gentry???

I think we should help them get haircuts. Help em lose a little off the top.

Dirt is people my friends

2020-03-13 11:08:19 AM
It's the same as those derpers who show a map of the US with all the counties that voted Trump.

2020-03-13 11:09:06 AM
It's a liberal conspiracy, only allowing people to vote instead of land.

2020-03-13 11:09:09 AM
Elections have consequences. Who knew?

2020-03-13 11:09:09 AM
Jerry Falwell Jr. is precisely the kind of person that makes me say we should stop being so laissez faire about freedom of religion. You know you're a scumbag when the pool boy that blackmails you over compromising photos comes across as the good guy in a story.

2020-03-13 11:09:33 AM
Land Mass is his way of calling Virginia GOP'ers fat.

Sorry, Junior, GOP'ers get ONE VOTE regardless of how massive they are.

2020-03-13 11:10:19 AM
Seems reasonable. Don't even need to vote anymore. Just allot representation directly based on party affiliation correlated with land mass per county. A truly fair and just system.

He meant Virginians that take up the most land mass.

Ambivalence: Acres don't vote, people do.

But not in the Senate!

2020-03-13 11:11:27 AM
If corporations can be people, why not land?

2020-03-13 11:11:35 AM
This is the new talking point - it's not the first time I've heard it.  Republicans are very worried that "most of the country" might get "bullied" by high-population areas just because more people live there.

How do I even mock this?  Really, I've got nothing.

2020-03-13 11:11:38 AM

Ambivalence: Acres don't vote, people do.

The Senate and Electoral College would disagree.

2020-03-13 11:12:06 AM

Gordon Bennett: It's a liberal conspiracy, only allowing people to vote instead of land.

Good luck getting land to show up to the polls.
