This should be a reasonable, pleasant discussion.

I look forward to all the Bernie Bros conceding to someone outperforming their candidate, and then making the rational decision of unifying to defeat Trump.

Biden is going to lose, and when he does, you'll blame the people you're curb stomping for not showing up.

Yeah - this is over, and all that's left is for the false flagger Trumpanzees to reveal themselves.

I will vote for Bernie.   I am not insane enough to not vote, therefore I will vote for the democratic party candidate.

As much as I will dislike it.

Murcan Dems want  Joe Biden, huh?

ok

i'll let you in on a little secret.

Joe will be the Maintainer President.  He won't do more damage like Trump would, but he won't change anything either.

and then, when the next Republican dickhead gets the white house, he'll pick up where Trump left off.

that has been the trend over the last 40 years.

well done, Dems.

oh, and i'm an Independent now.   the hell with the DNC and its wall street/corporate hacks.

I mean Biden did good, let's hope he can avoid rallies and interviews till November so he  doesn't eat shiat. Its a race of sundowners, pray Biden can keep it together longer than trump

I've already committed to voting blue, but the Biden Bros are living in an alternate reality if they think they're going to get everyone on board via browbeating.

Joe had really better come up with a better healthcare reform plan that "'member Obamacare? Yeah it was awesome" and fast.

Curb stomping? Ok... no victim mentality there.

Biden will lose? You do realize that Biden isn't closely beating Bernie in the swing states, and voter turnout is roughly 10-20% higher that night 2016's primary.

Every single day they're out there insulting the millions of registered Democrats that support Senator Sanders. Every day.

It makes perfect sense to honest people. I'm merely offering the advice that Hillary Clinton refused to take. Hillary Clinton lost to Donald Trump.

Trump literally got impeached trying to stop Biden from being the nominee.  I don't see why Republicans would suddenly want him to be the nominee.

I'm trying to decide now whether to vote for Biden or leave it blank on the Republican side, since my vote no longer matters either.

There has been some attempted Unskewing.  All indications are that Biden is winning with the broad 2018 congressional house flip coalition of voters, not the narrower 2016 Clinton primary coalition.

No...that's not how it works.  You vote in order of your preference.  It gives everyone a chance to vote for who they really want without being concerned they are wasting their vote in a 2-party system.   It would increase voter turnout since more candidates are still officially running.

DarnoKonrad: Biden is going to lose, and when he does, you'll blame the people you're curb stomping for not showing up.

I mean, it probably doesn't help that Bernie's National Press Secretary is retweeting #DemExit.

There are people disappointed their candidate is unlikely to win the primary but realize the perfect should not be the enemy of the good and that the next step needs to be improving the party platform, getting down ballot progressives elected in November, and try to reverse Trump's actions and improve upon the steps Obama took (which a public option added to ACA would be.)

There are others who want to burn it all to the ground, to salt the earth, to spite those who would not support their candidate and celebrate the vindication of their loss. This is politics as sport: sure more people would be hurt by Trump than by Biden, but that's Biden's fault for not gaining your enthusiasm if you cheer on his loss.

AOC pointed out last night that the number one enemy is cynicism.

Don't worry. I've been well assured that a sensible, moderate, upper-class, milquetoast, name-brand candidate with no memorable policies or clear, obvious message is going to be the best possible person to usurp a radical, charismatic, sexually reckless, bold, boisterous leader (dry heave) by making a really deep, meaningful, inspiring connection with the flyover states full of disenfranchised people to help him win the electoral college.

It's gonna be fine everyone. Nothing to worry about.

I'm sure his VP pick is gonna really help lock in that youth vote, too.
