Isn't 4th gear usually an overdrive gear, used for low gas usage when there's minimal acceleration?

In my old S-10 4th (and final) gear was 1:1

In my Jeep 5th and 6th are both overdrive, I forget what 4th's ratio is but that gear doesn't work anyway.

In the 2 cars I had years ago, that has manual shift, 5th gear was overdrive.

Reminds me of Toyota's in the 89's. There were only, like, 4 different key patterns, and they all would unlock and start the vehicle. Hell, a flathead screwdriver would do it too.

I think it's over, but Hillary was poling around the same in 2016, I believe. Biden's about my 5th choice (though ahead of Sanders), but I have a lot of trouble buying into the "Bernie would beat Trump" narrative if he can't win the primary I don't see how he can win the general election.

3rd'ed.  I'll still pull for him and probably vote for him if he isn't mathematically eliminated by the time we roll around, and while I took umbrage at people pushing the "he's toast!" before the ink was dry on Super Tuesday, a loss in Michigan in particular would be especially difficult to recover from.

On the bright side, if he loses to Trump we won't have to read Firebird/TransAm/IROC-Z headlines for the next four years.

Biden does seem like "four on the floor" type driver in his Trans Am.

Bernie is old enough that he learned to drive with a "three on the tree" in his Model T.

Won by a single point a got +4 delegates.  How much you win by matters in the delegate game.  That +4 could easily get massively overshadowed by Mississippi and Missouri.

Because the former Vice President of an immensely popular Democratic President is an easier win for Republicans than a self-avowed socialist who went to Moscow for his honeymoon during the Cold War and can't seem to communicate without shouting like an old man at a deli who has a problem with the soup?

"Mike Bloomberg, who swiftly endorsed Biden after the former mayor's campaign collapsed, would be a top possibility to head the World Bank.
...

Jamie Dimon - chairman and CEO of JPMorgan Chase, and mentioned over the years as a potential presidential candidate - would also be considered for Treasury.

Anne Finucane, vice chairman of Bank of America, is another possibility for Treasury..."

Like a said, a slap in the face.

I was talking to my cousin who used to have a stutter when he was a kid and he was telling me how pissed off he's getting that everyone is saying Biden has dementia when he sees recognizes his verbal stumbles as "word blocks"  which is what happens when a stutterer can't get a word out the way he wants to so and it won't come out so the way to get around this is to switch to a different word on the fly to get his point across. He notices it especially in the rapid fire debate formats where you have 30 seconds to get your words out and for stutterers, it's like the worst case scenario for a person with a stutter.

I admitted to falling for it too as Joe sounds much more "with it" when he's doing a town hall or a campaign rally and how he's articulate and doesn't have any of the verbal ticks that the "joe has dementia crowd" keeps picking on (berners and trumpers apparently have no problem mocking someone for a disability).

So next time you start buying into this bullshiat, take a min to ask yourself if Joe is really losing his marbles or if it's just a word he's having a hard time with that day.

Usually. Ford had a four speed top loader  with 3rd was direct and forth was an overdrive. Rambler/AMC and several European makes were fond of adding an auxiliary overdrive to their 3 and 4 speeds but it's not usually referred to as fourth (or fifth) gear.
