It's a shame Liz didn't get to be President, but on the bright side, now she can stay in the Senate and back up whichever old white man beats Trump in November.

If the Democrats get the majority, she'd be a good choice for Majority Leader. I'd especially love to see Moscow Mitch's face when he has to hand over the gavel. Fortunately, she persisted.

Not high enough in the party offices to be likely for Schumer to stand aside.

We live in a Democracy. Democracy is a popularity contest in which who convinces the most idiots to vote for them win. Personality and charisma matter more than smarts.

Biden might fark up quite a bit with his gaffes, but when it comes to personality, he trounces Warren.

Too bad, that. Schumer is the good version of Moscow Mitch. Too much power in an inadequate man.

I've heard Sec of Education tossed out for her as well. Clean up Devos's mess.

Every cabinet position in a mess. "President" might be secondary to "who can appoint the best (not being sarcastic here) people"?

From now on, every candidate withholds their name and campaigns in a raincoat and full hood.  They all have to use a voice modulator.  At the end, we unveil whoever we've chosen.

Republican governor of MA.  Warren resigns her senate seat, we get a GoP appointed seat filler.  Please stay put, Liz.  Please.  Then in two years, take an important job with the administration, then run again for the big chair.

Not how that works in Mass.  A special election is called to fill the seat.

Yeah, that's how that works in MA.  Governor appoints an interim, special election in 160 days.

Biden has almost no choice but to choose a female vice president if he wants a chance at the White House.
Trump would be better served by ditching Pence.

My wife was saying, last week, that there's no way Warren was going to win. I said that, if this country can elect a black man, we can certainly elect a white woman. She said no way, because people are afraid of vaginas. I insisted she was wrong, but now that we have Warren's numbers from the primary, I'll have to admit: maybe my wife was right.

you realize Hillary Clinton, who presumably also has a vagina, not only won the primary but got more votes than Trump right?

It sure as shiat didn't help when the media outright pretended she didn't exist for a while, and only started acknowledging her again once the damage was already done.

Expression, or worse, a way of thinking, in the passive voice is lazy conjecture.

Before Obama's "dark horse" candidacy (see 1844, or TMBG, but I was raised in TN, so grew up with the designation) in the primaries, frickin' polls had projected Clinton's nomination and such constultancy based nonsense was sufficient to prompt McCain to name Palin as a running mate...

Because the circumstance of a woman running against a man for the highest office in the land was without precedent. Palin wasn't chosen for her experience or knowledge of policy, but identity politics.

I can't wait to see what Warren does next. She's never done anything but instruct me in what's possible.

Probably run again without Bernie to snap up the lion's share of the progressive wing, get 30% of the moderate vote because she's excellent and has the policies and the plans we all want, and win the nom in a landslide.

He's setting pence up for failure by making him the Corona czar, so he can switch to Ivanka as his running mate.  Then if he gets re-elected he can "step down for health reasons" and have Ivanka pardon him for all the shiat he's pulled and retire to a nice warm non-extradition island.

i TRIED to vote for the best woman to run yet. But I would not be allowed to, until 2 months later.

And Mike Bloomberg got 10-15% just based on ads.  Liz *should have* picked up Bernie's crowd. And the fact that Mayonnaise Pete (FXXK you, "anjin-san") got anything, and Tulsi Gabbard even got discussed, well....

I have no faith of helping this country. Maybe Bane could?

*Nah just a bunch of incels Naruto-running Area 51, and getting gunned down WW1-style*

I'd say "Gonna miss you Aunt Liz" but know she will be raising hell somewhere.

You can still support a woman in this election. You can support a woman who is drowning in student loan debt. You can support a woman who can't afford childcare. You can support a woman whose life depends on access to insulin. You can't do any of this by voting for Joe Biden.

In six months Bloomberg is going to be seen as a hero for spending 400M to deliver a piledriver to Trump in all major media markets.  That he spent another 200M trying to get himself some delegates won't really be that important.

Now that he's out, I'd like to thank him for doing that.

My high school algebra teacher gets to demand I show my work, but only because she was intellectually honest and wouldn't try to fadge up some crap about a quote from a fundraising event that had nothing to do with healthcare.  He was talking about standards of living or rich people, which is it's own issue, and you might hate him for it.

No, the Biden healthcare plan includes importing cheaper drugs from outside the US (which alone would bring prices way down), and allowing medicare to directly negotiate drug prices.  But you knew that.

How dare professional comediennes who have worked on Colbert, Comedy Central, and run their own podcasts speak their minds on Twitter. What biatches, am I right? Don't they know they need to keep their asses in the kitchen unless they have the right opinions, which is that a man endorsed and funded by Michael Bloomberg knows what's best for them?

My my, such a bold and strong plan to bring to Congress! I'm sure the people who have been trying to systemically dismantle Obamacare by hook or crook for a decade will embrace it with open arms, and that an initial offer that irresistible which has nothing to negotiate away without fundamentally failing will positively sail through Congress without a problem! Wait, which congress are we talking about?  The GoP congress three years ago that tried half a dozen times to "repeal and replace", but couldn't because voting against the ACA is political suicide in 80% of America?  Or are we talking about the current congress, which has passed all kinds of nice bills that the Senate is sitting on?  Are you talking about the next congress, which is likely to go even bluer?

Or are you trying to say that Biden wants thousand dollar vials of insulin, and your proof is that you think congress will try to enact his ACA 2.0 that cheapens drug prices, but not be able to?
