Not only is it one of those articles that's just composed of tweets, it's an article that's just tweets in Japanese.

I work for a huge company and they have banned all travel to Asian countries and some European countries.  No one is allowed to travel outside of their established work country for work reasons until further notice.
If an employee goes to a "restricted country", even for personal reasons, then upon their return, they are suspended without pay for 15 working days.

The one thing I learned from this is that there are a lot of people that don't like/care for their elder relatives.

This 14-15 day incubation may be a dangerous myth, just like Covid19 will behave just like SARS.

Yesterday, someone who had been tested twice as negative ventured by public transport to a large mall and ate at a food court.  The third test was positive.  The only symptom was that the THIRD TEST WAS POSITIVE.

I saw that on the news.  The warning now is that the symptoms may be so mild that someone can be contagious for weeks and not know it.
My job also usually has the front desk people for each division come around about every other week with Clorox wipes and everyone has to stop what they are doing and clean their desks and common areas.  Now, they are doing twice a week in the higher traffic areas.  Someone keeps leaving hand sanitizer on everyone's desks too.  I now have 11 bottles in my cabinet.  No one goes through a 7.5 ounce bottle of hand sanitizer in a few days.

I am going to save it up and use it for nefarious purposes.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this was a thing a long time ago.  I don't think Corona has anything to do with it.

When they kick at your front door
how you gonna come?
With your hands on your head
or plush cottony three-ply gently caressing your bum?

The grocery store was sold out of sanitizer and I was watching the giant tubs of it they supply the checkers with to see if any customers would try stealing them.

I think I read soap and hand washing is preferred to sanitizer (something about lipids around the virus) so I'm not ready to steal sanitizer yet. My tp and hand soap supplies are on point at the moment.

A good warm water hand washing is the best thing. Sanitizers are for when you don't have that readily available.

Hahaha "suspended without pay."
"Hey employee, did you just come back from Wuhan?"
"Um, ... no."

I just wanted to buy some rubbing alcohol to clean my glass smoking supplies but panic buying has cleaned all that shiat out too.

People are dangerous, panicky animals.

Yup. It's getting stupid.

My question is: what happens to all this stuff when the panic subsides? Does it all go to a landfill? Do people try to return the 328 packages of Charmin that they bought? Do they just have rolls of shiat tickets tucked into various spaces in their house as they slowly use it all over the next decade? What about the boxes of masks? The feminine hygiene pads? The hand sanitizer? The bleach? The iso alcohol? It just screams waste. I'm sure a good number of these panicky hoarders considers themselves "green", too, as they fill their Prius with unnecessary supplies that are likely going to go to waste. If things continue I'm sure they'd run you down in their Prius if they saw you were walking out of the store with the last packs of Cottonelle and Purell. Amazing how everything goes out the window as the frenzy progresses. People truly are dangerous, panicky animals.
