So this guy picks up a Black Mamba because he wants to let it bite him on the forearm, but it bites him three times on his hand first.

No problem. "I do this to prove that self-immunization works," he says. Kinda like building up your immunity to iocane powder just in case you need to challenge someone to a battle of wits.

And he might be able to survive all these bits but he sure as hell doesn't look very healthy.

Of the various types of content YouTube bans,  videos like this should be banned as there are just too many idiots who will try it themselves with fatal results.

I think it's time we started talking about banning Black Mambas.

Kinda expecting this guy.  My son loves his series on getting stung/bit by everything.  "I hear a rumor that there is a wasp down here in costa rica that has a sting worse than a bullet ant.  Lets see if we can find it."  Writhing in pain for an hour.

The title shot calls it a black mamaba.

What a stupid typo.

The amount of venom that can be delivered from a single bite can be gargantuan.  You know, I've always liked that word, "gargantuan."

I bet he dies from eating a tide pod, though.

I've heard of them swallowing golf balls thinking they're eggs, but I don't think a snake would be dumb enough to swallow a tide pod.

Mr Blackitt: That's what being a Protestant's all about. That's
why it's the church for me. That's why it's the church for
anyone who respects the individual and the individual's right
to decide for him or herself. When Martin Luther nailed his
protest up to the church door in 1517, he may not have
realised the full significance of what he was doing. But four
hundred years later, thanks to him, my dear, I can wear
whatever I want on my John Thomas. And Protestantism doesn't
stop at the simple condom. Oh no! I can wear French Ticklers
if I want.

Mrs Blackitt: You what?

Mr Blackitt: French Ticklers... Black Mambos... Crocodile Ribs...
Sheaths that are designed not only to protect but also to
enhance the stimulation of sexual congress...

Mrs Blackitt: Have you got one?

Mr Blackitt: Have I got one? Well no... But I can go down the road
any time I want and walk into Harry's and hold my head up
high, and say in a loud steady voice: 'Harry I want you to
sell me a *condom*. In fact today I think I'll have a French
Tickler, for I am a Protestant...'

Mrs Blackitt: Well why don't you?

Hell, I'm nearly 40 and enjoy watching Peterson. Well, when he's not doing the Jackass crap that get kids watching. He's a great wildlife educator and ambassador, and I have a real love/hate relationship with the Jackass crap...I understand why he does it, but on the other hand I hate that it's necessary. I do appreciate most of his interactions with wild animals are rescues and rehabs, and captive-born ambassador creatures though, and that he puts his focus on cohabitation and humane treatment.

In a way it really puts Steve Irwin in perspective, that his sensationalism in dealing with wildlife was something of a necessary evil to get people interested, but on the other hand it really shows how far the need for sensationalism has escalated in post-social media, post-YT, post-reality TV media.

As a connoisseur of YouTube venomous snake videos, I can assure you that there are far too many idiots out there with access to cameras and venomous snakes.

I so rarely have an opportunity to use it in a sentence.

IIRC, this guy built up his immunity not just to show off, but also so he can donate blood to labs for antivenin research.

just say'n, if you wanted us to evolve to have a higher % of intelligent in the popularization, protecting us from  our own poor judgement just keeps that poor judgement in the pool bring down the average.

Maybe instead of blocking bad ideas we focused on teaching how to spot them in the first place, we'd start to see some evolution in us again.
