Seems rather derivative, given we already had a whole TV series about it:  Petty Little Liars.

That was from 2018, subby

There are people in Middletown who actively defend him as a good, honorable man who served his country with distinction. He's such a traitorous son of a b*tch.

I spit on him. *ptew*

There's people who still think Oliver North did nothing wrong.

Old news is super exciting.

And this is Flynn's latest request for a pardon https://www.usatoday.com/documents/6779170-Reply-to-Opposition/, although they will have to have someone on Faux and Friends put it into small words for its intended audience.

And it's the same people, and they think G Gordon Liddy didn't do anything wrong either. And they believe Hillary Clinton should be in jail, and so should literally any other Democrat they don't like.

They're just authoritarians. The only right and wrong they believe in is whatever is convenient for them.

Maybe Mueller can go on TV and refuse to comment five thousand times again.

That'll be helpful.

He put it all in writing.  He handed them a gift on a silver platter.  The fact that nothing was done with that mountain of evidence is no fault of Mueller's.  How much farking hand holding do they need?

Mueller concluded that presidents are indeed somehow above the law, which is self-evidently bullshiat. When a corrupt AG misrepresented his investigation's conclusions and withheld his report from the public, Mueller sat on his hands. When subpoenaed, Mueller acted like a doddering old fark.

In short, when it came time for Mueller to stand up for what is right...he Republican'd.

Just like the rest of 'em.

Yeah, I had to do a double-take, too.  Apparently, *we* need the optometrist.

Wow. Good call. I did NOT catch that. I get a -15 on the reading skills portion of the test for today.

No, Barr said that. If Barr didn't intervene, I will bet you dollars to donuts that Trump would've been indicted

The Mueller report said that they didn't even look at whether to charge the President with committing obstruction because they couldn't indict him anyway and accusing him of crimes without the chance for him to defend himself in court was not kosher. That wasn't Barr's false summary, it was in the second half of the report. But Barr did misquote the report in his false summary. He pulled a direct quote and chopped off the incriminating part.

As I said, Mueller Republican'd. Right on schedule. Just like the rest of them. When it was time to take a stand for principles and the law, Mueller became a jellyfish who put party over country. Just like the rest of them.

They're. All. Bad.

I'm inclined to believe this, because the last few years have increased my cynicism by a huge factor, although there is a tiny part of me that thinks his strategy (while not what we wanted) might not have been based on a desire to screw the country.

It was not his job to pass judgement on the president. He came as close to accusing the president as he could reasonably get. He laid out the facts clearly and unambiguously. If he had put a toe across that line and sounded like he was making formal accusations, he would have been labeled partisan, and secretly working with Nancy. That would have immediately tainted any information gained from the investigation, as well as all the other investigations that branched off of his.

It was NANCY'S job to take the baton from him. She was supposed to be the face of impeachment because she had the authority to make that call.

They both farked up. Mueller farked up by allowing Barr to kill the investigation and his testimony was absolute garbage. Pelosi farked up by tucking her tail afterwards for six months. We put our trust in total cowards, unfortunately.
