Now, between Jeff and Mike, we can watch how billionaires play with wannabe rich folk.  Someone alert the toddler that now he has 2 picking on him.

There goes more taxpayer money to pay government lawyers.

Imagine being so rich that you sue the government for not giving you even more money than they already do, and you get taken seriously.

Amazon has to put up 42m bond in case they lose and cause damages. They are going to lose and I'm shocked they think this is going to work out as a positive for them in any form.

Meh, They get something of a win simply by inconveniencing msft and slowing their momentum. 42m means fark-all to amazon. Or msft. This is routine jousting between a couple of trillion dollar companies.

As someone working on a project directly dealing with this, I'm getting a kick...

42m is ~4 hours of profit for Amazon.  It's a calculated investment for a $10B potential reward, and theoretically, all they really need to do is keep it locked up in courts until Trump is out of office, or until Bezos can buy off enough politicians.

MS has not been the little guy since they first took on IBM and Apple

This is SOP for losers of government contracts.  Contract challenges probably cost us hundreds of millions of dollars and useless delays.

$42 million is a minuscule price to pay and it will likely delay the project for a couple of years with challenges and appeals.

Not to worry, all that money wasted by federal employees dealing with this quagmire have been funded by all those taxes Amazon pays...oh wait.

This is the very embodiment of entitlement and its genuinely disgusting.
