Maybe Tauruses are more likely to get caught and even those dirty Cancers are serial killers.

When people ask me my sign, I tell them "I don't believe in astronomy." A few folks get it.

A lady at a party asked my sign and I said, "Capricorn."
"Oh, I knew it because gabble gabble."
"Did I say 'Capricorn'? I meant Cancer."
"Right. That's what I meant, and I can tell..."
"Ooops. I meant the other one. Sagittarius."
"That's what I was going to say..."
"I forgot, It's Mickey Mouse."
She still kept going on with her can't-be-wrong stargazing, but everybody else was laughing.

Yeah, LEO's are a lot better at getting away with it. Even when they are caught, they can just say, "But I was afraid! With all my training, I though that phone was an assault rifle!"

I'm a Taurus, but I'm also a Yang-oriented Fire Ram (according to Chinese astrology) so those two counteract each other.  Or it means, I'll never be caught.

Me: Scorpio.
HCaP (visibly disturbed)...and your Moon?
Me: Scorpio.

Wrong

Your 'real sign'
The table below lists the dates when the sun is actually within the astronomical constellations of the Zodiac, according to modern constellation boundaries and corrected for precession (these dates can vary a day from year to year).
You will most likely find that once precession is taken into account, your Zodiac sign is different. And if you were born between Nov. 29 and Dec. 17, your sign is actually one you never saw in the newspaper: you are an Ophiuchus! The ecliptic passes through the constellation of Ophiuchus after Scorpius.
Check out your "real" zodiac sign, based on the sun's current path, and compare it to the date still used by astrologers (in parentheses):
Capricorn - Jan. 20 to Feb. 16 (Dec. 23 to Jan. 21) Aquarius - Feb. 16 to March 11 (Jan. 22 to Feb. 20) Pisces - March 11 to April 18 (Feb. 21 to March 19) Aries - April 18 to May 13 (March 20 to April 20) Taurus - May 13 to June 21 (April 21 to May 21) Gemini - June 21 to July 20 (May 22 to June 22) Cancer - July 20 to Aug. 10 (June 23 to July 22) Leo - August 10 to Sept. 16 (July 23 to Aug. 22) Virgo - Sept. 16 to Oct. 30 (Aug. 23 to Sept. 22) Libra - Oct. 30 to Nov. 23 (Sept. 23 to Oct. 22) Scorpio - Nov. 23 to Nov. 29 (Oct. 23 to Nov. 22) Ophiuchus - Nov. 29 to Dec. 17 (not included in the Zodiac) Sagittarius - Dec. 17 to Jan. 20 (Nov. 23 to Dec. 22)

You know what I hate the most about astrology?

That these people believe constellations (aside from shiat like the dippers) actually look like what they say they do. I believe that less than I believe they affect my life.

It's a bit older than that.

"The oldest undisputed evidence of the use of astrology as an integrated system of knowledge is therefore attributed to the records of the first dynasty of Mesopotamia (1950-1651 BCE). "

The Astrology Wiki (source of the above quote) goes into detail about the history of Astrology while including scientific and scholarly people from each era explaining (in detail) why it's Unscientific Bullshiat.

Now you may find it inconceivable or at the very least a bit unlikely that the relative position of the planets and the stars could have a special deep significance or meaning that exclusively applies to only you, but let me give you my assurance that these forecasts and predictions are all based on solid, scientific, documented evidence, so you would have to be some kind of moron not to realize that every single one of them is absolutely true.

If I saw a study that stated the general season of your birth had some effect on you as a person, I would believe it. Like, having your birthday in December vs. July might do something.

Heck, personally I think part of the reason I'm such a miserable asshole as an adult is my birthday weekend always included laying flowers on graves because it's in late May (memorial day is the last monday in May for you non US Farkers).

The stars ain't got shiat to do with anything, though.

Plato came up with the signs when the earth was still at the middle of all FIVE of the other planets.
Due to the precession (wobble) of the earth the signs are completely out of whack.

There is no science to it whatsoever.

Also Tauruses only have a plurality, not a majority.
There is nothing these people can get right about math or science.
