These people are regular guests, and the hosts do nothing to shut them down.

Propaganda network indeed.

162 pages isn't a memo, it's a book.

I mean... Is it meant to be a recruiting document?

Since when does Fox care about lying in support of their ends?

There were rumors that the meeting in McConnell's office with Murdoch last November was Murdoch telling Mitch he didn't want to be privy to their crimes anymore

somedude210: There were rumors that the meeting in McConnell's office with Murdoch last November was Murdoch telling Mitch he didn't want to be privy to their crimes anymore

Real easy way he could fix that.

Now about not having these people on anymore?

Gotta have a research unit to know what to cover up.

With that result I'm pretty damn sure the correct tense is "had".

I could have saved them from reading 162 pages.

Lol, probably the opposite. Murdoch is the Grand Dragon of this whole thing.

lol, someone in that rumor's origin clearly didn't realize the person who told that to them was being sarcastic AF.

Fox News' research team is like Trump's advisers. Having them is one thing. Listening to them is another.

2020-02-07 12:06:43 AM

Ambivalence: 162 pages isn't a memo, it's a book.

Page one is "These people are farking liars"
Page two through one-hundred and sixty-two is simply sourcing footnotes printed in size 8 font.

NateAsbestos: I mean... Is it meant to be a recruiting document?

Clearly their producers use it to book guests. It probably has their phone numbers in it.

Huh, they misspelled Loss Prevention as 'Research'.

When people don't lie on air enough for them.

So nobody at Fox will read it.

It's time for the FCC to tell Fox News to run disclaimers for their opinion disinformation shows.

I don't watch that garbage propaganda network, so I've only glanced at pics of Toensing before.

In this headline usage, the word "fox" should not be in all caps. It is not a set of initials. Ultimately, it was a man's surname.

2020-02-07 12:43:22 AM
It would probably be easier to list the people in this government actually acting in good faith.

I mean, if you could find any.

2020-02-07 12:52:43 AM
That makes sense to me. You gotta know what the truth is to say the opposite with consistency.

2020-02-07 12:57:54 AM
"... use of unreliable sources, publishing false and misleading stories, misrepresentation of sources, and opaque coordination with involved parties."

Did someone accidentally the whole FOX News mission statement into an internal  oppo research memo?

Ambivalence: 162 pages isn't a memo, it's a book.

Calling it a book isn't pretty much guaranteeing no republicans read it?

BizarreMan: Gotta have a research unit to know what to cover up.

You need a research unit to know what the truth is in order to keep your systematic campaign of lying something approaching consistent and not get blindsided by reality.

Without it you end up looking as stupid as Trump, with your pathetically obvious lies being exposed almost as you tell them.

2020-02-07 2:15:52 AM
So Fox has an entire unit dedicated to Hillary's emails?  I thought that was what Sean Hannity's show was for...

2020-02-07 5:00:57 AM
The entire rightwing mediasphere from Rush Limbaugh forward was an op. No, I can't really prove it and I don't really care if it makes me sound like a conspiracy nut. They're all traitors.

/yes, even my/your family members that support this

Yet they managed to get 52 Senators to believe the misinformation.

2020-02-07 6:26:10 AM
Of course Fox News has an investigative team. Knowing the truth makes them better liars.

2020-02-07 6:51:12 AM
Fox News has a whole Internet Research Agency

SmithHiller: It's time for the FCC to tell Fox News to run disclaimers for their opinion disinformation shows.

Fun fact: Fox News Channel is a cable channel, and thus not subject to FCC oversight.
This does not apply to Fox TV affiliates' news departments, which are generally not owned by News Corp, FNC's parent company.

It's. It that the Senators believed it.  They just didn't care to stand for what was right.  Just ask Ted Cruz.

It was meant as to be used for when Ivanka gives them their Presidential Medal of Freedom.

I'll just show you guys the tipping point for me: it was seeing the payments on a spreadsheet and seeing the number of Russian owners of Trump tower condos. I'm attaching three screenshots here, anyone who wants access to this spreadsheet email me. pic.twitter.com/sv2nt4YvP6
