Donnie never believed any of it, but damned if he wasn't going to milk all the campaign cash out of folks who did. Because his heart is that of a grifter, tried and true. He is offended, deeply, if a sucker has a single dollar left to his name after speaking with him. Couple it with an inability to admit that he's ever reversed or changed a position in his life, you know, like trying to pal around with the Clintons for years, and his ego coupled with the grifter logic gets us to where we are with his cavalcade of untenable positions. He doesn't have to be right, he just has to appeal to folks long enough to get something from them, and then...well...darn those coffee boys...

Gabe has mastered the art of controlling Trump's public statements. The president is known for his rambling asides, and that is where Gabe shines. Those who would speak with us about him said Gabe has an uncanny ability to edit scrolling teleprompter text in a way that fits seamlessly with Trump's unpredictable speaking style. He knows when to pause. He can follow Trump's stream of consciousness effectively enough to get boss right back on track, even after a not-uncommon 10-minute deviation.

The Trump Whisperer.

We all know Trump is a hypocrite and incompetent. But the very existence of Gabe Perez and what he does is itself evidence of Trump's hypocrisy and incompetency.

It goes without saying that this president and candidate was always as likely to be honest with voters about this (or anything else) as he was likely to willingly put on a condom full of silverfish.

FTFA: "What's his last name?" For what it's worth, it's Perez.

I really want to believe that the people interviewed for the story were against releasing Gabe's last name so as to not reveal that it was a Hispanic person (or at least, someone with a Hispanic name) putting words in Trump's mouth.

With the type of people working for Trump, that's actually a very plausible scenario.

The whole stupidity of birtherism is that Barack Obama was vetted before he ran for Illinois state legislature, which would have followed him to the US senate, where, upon obtaining the Democratic nomination and the POTUS, he would have again been thoroughly vetted by US Intelligence Agencies. This is all boilerplate stuff for any thinking person....but it's just one more example of his not being held to account for his behaviour. The fact is that he got away with smearing a sitting US President, a genuine insult to his dignity as a man when he had nothing else to b**** about - he does the mirror opposite during his administration and he's so white hot with anger that anyone would question his actual and myriad scams, insults, debasements and lies that he commits multiple acts of obstruction of both Congress and justice. All documented and in public. If I didn't see it with my own eyes, I wouldn't think it was possible in the America I know.

Someone please walk me through the logistics of this.
How do you go about collecting the silverfish?
How long can they go without air?
Do they bite, or burrow into flesh and lay eggs?
Is this a solo pursuit or a precursor to intercourse?
If intercourse, wouldn't roly-polies work even better for something akin to a French tickler effect?
Should it be a combination of silverfish and roly-polies to maximize pleasure for both if two people are involved?
If these things need air, would that require poking holes in the condom?
Would they be able to escape through the holes?
Would that be pleasurable or terrible for the recipient if they ended up inside them?

Asking for a friend.
Of course.

There are wealthy people who think he's good for their tax rates, and bigoted assholes who support him because he's bad for the people they hate.

Neither group cares about what's good for America, and the latter is fine for the bring hurt by him themselves as long as they can believe he's hurting "those people" more.

You may be on to something there.  There is a pickup truck rolling around the metro Atlanta area with a Confederate battle flag bumper sticker in the center of the tailgate.  Just below that display, there's another bumper sticker that reads "Trump won.  Get over it."  I shiat you not.  I was driving down the interstate at the time or I would have taken a picture with my phone.

BARACK OBAMA was the first black president of the Harvard Law Review. He was born in Kenya to an American anthropologist and a Kenyan finance minister, and was raised in Indonesia, Hawaii, and Chicago. His first book is DREAMS FROM MY FATHER: A STORY OF RACE AND INHERITANCE. - Dystel &  Goderich Literary Management , Client List 2002

There's a Snopes article for that. Seems the agent who wrote that blurb didn't know what they were talking about.

But then, AR was seriously pitching "57 states" as a whatabout to one of the most recent episodes of verbal peristalsis that Trump did recently, so make of that what you will.

Yeah, reading is hard.

Miriam Goderich edited the text of the bio; she is now a partner at the Dystel & Goderich agency, which lists Obama as one of its current clients.

"You're undoubtedly aware of the brouhaha stirred up by Breitbart about the erroneous statement in a client list Acton & Dystel published in 1991 (for circulation within the publishing industry only) that Barack Obama was born in Kenya. This was nothing more than a fact checking error by me - an agency assistant at the time," Goderich wrote. "There was never any information given to us by Obama in any of his correspondence or other communications suggesting in any way that he was born in Kenya and not Hawaii. I hope you can communicate to your readers that this was a simple mistake and nothing more."

So where did she get that info that she claims she "fact-checked" incorrectly?

Besides, that does nothing to refute the claim, which Snopes validated as "true" that up until he announced his candidacy for President when they finally corrected the record, Obama's literary agent was claiming that he was born in Kenya. This long predated Trump's interest in the matter.
