Officials said the cause of the second crash is still under investigation.
Because there's a way that a stopped train could be at fault, somehow, for a car hitting it head on?  WTF?  Dead guy was probably drunk.  We already know he's an idiot.  He farking ran into a stopped train!

Is that an unsignaled intersection? Maybe there were black tankers crossing the intersection when the car hit the train. Because those white hoppers are pretty darn visible.

Chalk this one up to distracted driving.. phones are bad enough, and new cars have built-in distractions, namely the flat screen in the center of the dash.. gotta look at it to do anything in the car, and that means no eyes on the road.. add to that : stupidity is rampant and getting worse.. it does take a few out of the gene pool, which is meaningless, as the pool is half empty already....

Tom Marvolo Bombadil: Have we already done "2 cars 1 train"?

Yes we have, but now we have to be subjected to all the reaction videos.

TWO accidents with the same train?! That clearly shows it was the train's fault.

CSB time: A train hit the cross country moving truck my stuff was in. The street my new place was on had train tracks running down the center of the road. Plenty of room on both sides for curbside parking but no traffic could pass when the train was there. My place had a long flat gravel driveway that would have been plenty but would have taken a bit of effort to back in, but the driver didn't want to do it. There was no open parking on my street at the time, so the driver decided double parking in the road would be a peachy keen idea. So in the middle of him unloading thing(The moving company only sent him to unload while they had four to load.) one of the nearly hourly train comes trundling along and clips the left rear corner of the trailer. Loud bang and some metal screeching. Trailer was not too damaged, mainly scrape marks along the side. The train was inconvenienced more than anything. Took 90 minutes for local police and then railroad police to take reports.Felt sorry for the driver, it was gonna be a hit to his insurance, but I did tell him the trains were pretty frequent and offered to help with directing him to back in. I felt less bad after I found out they'd rattle my computer tower around enough to pull the CPU and heatsink off the motherboard, and not due to the train incident, it had already been unloaded.
