At this point, we're getting West's Robin (that didn't become Nightwing) in Keaton's timeline (which apparently disavows the Schumacher films and completes Batman Returns) with Conroy jumping from animated to live action to take over playing Bruce Wayne.  And now this?  We're crossing a lot of streams.

Fair enough. I will say that I Tom Ellis' portrayal of Lucifer is on-point, if a little campy. I'd like to see him in some other shows or films.

The show is pretty good, the actors are all good. The cop not a cop thing was uneven.

RUMOR

Dammit, don't tease me like that!

I think some Constantine/Lucifer interaction would be hilarious...or hot...or both.

/Constantine just looks like he'd smell like a dirty ashtray with water spilled on it.

Nah, he'd smell like a strip club bathroom...and that combined with Lucifer's natural presence would work just *great*.

The rumors are getting nuts.  I saw something about Black Lightning piloting the Waverider.

They should work in a few Elvi (plural for Elvis).

He was wearing a suit?

I don't watch anything on the CW that isn't Supernatural but I'll start if they bring in Lucifer. I wouldn't hold my breath though, Lucifer being on Netflix and all. Besides which as of right now he's back ruling over Hell and can't leave or the demons will fark up earth.

Considering Crisis is all about alternate universes, he may be playing a Lucifer, just not necessarily Netflix's Lucifer.

Unless Gods, Angels and Demons transcend multiple dimensions. I've never been very clear on the concept.

That sounds needlessly confusing. But then there's only one more season of Lucifer. Which means 10 episodes,

I haven't been following this 'Lucifer', but is this the Sandman incarnation?  And yeah, it'd be interesting to know if Morpheus and the Endless and God and Heaven are singular in a multiverse?  Seemed like it.

Nah, he could pop out to get a pizza or something but he can't just take a 5 year vacay because he wants to. I am sure he'll find a way to sneak off to see the good detective now and then. I just hope they use birth control because we all know what happens if he has a kid....

Crisis on InfiniteEarths.

It could be any Lucifer and if it is the same Lucifer, maybe he sees the threat coming to his Earth and goes out to stop it.

According to the Sandman Overture, there are a lot of Morpheuses.

I'm just saddened by the lack of Mark Hamill as live action Joker.  It'd be fun to have him tearing up the screen with Conroy.

You never know.. Mark has been on The Flash as the Trickster a few times.. plus on the 1990 version of The Flash.

They expanded it to 16 episodes for the final season.

Excellent. Still don't know why they're canceling it though. At least they can plan ahead for a proper finale, unlike when it got dumped by Fox.

Well...  Sort of, but no.

The Sandman Lucifer was continued in Mike Carey's series Lucifer, which was fantastic (even though it had a bit of a rough start).

The TV series Lucifer has a couple elements or tips of the hat to the Sandman character and the character in Carey's series (e.g., he initially runs a nightclub called Lux, his "friend" Mazikeen, etc.), but that's about where they end.

The difference between the character in the Sandman series and the character in the TV show is so great as to be absurd.
