Meh. Famous people sometimes have kids that follow the same, or a similar, profession. See the Bridges, Samantha Mathis, Liza Minelli, Charlie Sheen and Emillio Estevez, etc.

I'm not a fan of legs that are the same proportion from top to bottom.

Yeah, it's called nepotism.

I didn't read any outrage though. She's 18, her mother doesn't "let" her do anything.

I'd rather see a picture in another outfit before judging - in that one, even the hair is specifically chosen to make her look stick-like.

If your mom or sister made their own clothes,
they bought patterns.  Different companies had
different specialties, or so I've been told.
Go to a Mormon thrift shop, and you'll see scads of old patterns.

It's like on Castle when Stana Katic was supposed to be all sexy and wore a very revealing pink dress to Castle's book release party. She was supposed to be waaay sexy, but came off as scrawny and unhealthy. I suspect it wasn't just my reaction because she stayed covered up from then on.

That's NOT the definition of nepotism. It's not even close.

Nepotism is the act of using one's power to get good jobs or unfair advantages for the members of your family when the members of your family do not deserve it or may not have the right skill, experience or motivation.

Perhaps not, but when you can get your kid in the door to the people that matter without the requisite 10 years of waiting tables and going to auditions, it sure doesn't hurt, does it?

Mugato: She's 18, her mother doesn't "let" her do anything.

I'd just like to highlight this statement. I didn't 'let' my 18 yo daughter move out in her Senior year of HS. She decided to move, she told us, she moved.*

*That sounded cold, it wasn't like that, there was no drama. She got a really good job through DECA her Senior year but we lived 40 miles out of town on a ranch. Her moving into town was the sensible choice, safer than her driving on the highway everyday. She took the job, got a roommate, budgeted and did great. But we didn't let her do anything after she turned 18, they were her decisions after that.
