My wife told me this was cancelled. I just finished season 3. I think. I'm so confused, now. Do I have to use the internet or can Fark be my TV guide?

Season 4 is the last season, and started a few weeks ago.

Season 4 is the final season. Technically not cancelled, as it was Michael Schur and the producers idea to do only 4 seasons.

Hey, I only binge this when they release a season on Netflix.  So I've only seen through end of last season.

So hey, without spoilers, from last season when no one was making it to the actual Good Place because of not enough points, do they explain how  Maribeth Monroe got her barely enough points to get into her own Medium Place?

/actually I don't care about spoilers, but if others do, I want them to blame you

It's covered earlier. Basically, she was an awful person but on a bender comes up with an amazing charity. She dies like right after but then a family member uses her idea to save many people. Mind you, that's before the whole "No one in good place" thing

We absolutely loved 1st season, 2nd season was OK, 3rd season stumbled along - then what seemed like a two-year wait, can't remember anything that happened in season 3, two episodes in to season 4 and we're skipping the rest. It just seems like random crap now.

Maaaaaaaybe I might binge-watch the whole thing after it's done so all the bits come together into a cohesive picture. Time will tell.

10-episode seasons and year-plus hiatuses are dooming modern television.

You're a little off on the numbers there.  All of the seasons have been 13 episodes, and there's only been about an 8 month hiatus between each season.

The halved seasons do probably make it seem much longer between new ones though.

I think the series as a whole has been pretty excellent overall.

Just binged the first 3 episodes.

I think returning to a The Good Place is paying off nicely. Season 3 was a bit wobbly.

When Jason threw his rock I thought he was going to get his own Blake Bortles. It's not like he doesn't have the time to make a cameo these days.

That is the most glaring plot hole in the whole damn thing. Wonder if they'll address it.

Technically, given that she isn't in the bad place, that would make Mindy the most pious person to have lived over 500 years right? Since that would be the best score given?

when did they have an opportunity to switch? why would the bad place pull the same trick twice?

During the exchange at the train station. Michael and Janet escorted muscle boy onto the train and were briefly out of sight. I suspect Janet is compromised too, which is why she broke up with Jason, dyed her hair and had to "read" John's file again. Real Janet would just know what's in John's file. Either Michael or Janet is definitely Vicki in disguise. After all, she's a Ferrari, you can't keep her in the garage. Plus, everything Michael has Eleanor do with Chidi is designed to fail and it's making Eleanor miserable.

I'm not sure I buy it, but I've seen some speculation that they "spoiled" it in the closing credits (and the IMDB credits include the same "spoiler").  Given how legendarily secretive they have been about this show, there's no way they would accidentally spoil something like that.  So, I'm skeptical.
