Crap poll is crap. Use the 538 average which has him approaching 13 points underwater. Their average for 'All adults" has him 14.6 points underwater.

When was the poll taken. Because news takes a little bit of time to filter into polling result.

Also, no respectable poll has him close to 50.

/too many have him over 40 though, which always makes me wonder about the half of America

HarrisX poll eh, you know that totally accurate Rasmussen guy's new company.

1) This isn't surprising. Impeachment probably crystallizes both sides. The "meh, Trump is okay" Trumpers are probably now trying to circle the wagons and say "YEAH HE'S DOING A GOOD JOB DURRR"

2) Didn't The Hill just run an op-ed by Eric Trump? I'll use 538, thanks.

2019-10-03 9:01:31 PM
Only Trump or one of his jabbering horde of imbeciles would celebrate an opinion poll that still shows most of America disliking him.

Also, polling has no bearing on the fact that Trump is a treasonous, lying sack of shiat, and so are you if you support him.

It was 8 households, all in the patriotic panhandle of Florida. And the margin of error is actually zero. It's a perfectly beautiful poll.

I'm thinking he's going to drop a few more rungs in the next polls.

I wish this were true.  Hell, the republicans were specifically asking for Ukraine to get a different prosecutor, along with a bunch of other countries and pretty much everyone else because their prosecutor wasn't actually trying to combat corruption.  But now the same Republicans who called for a different prosecutor are peddling conspiracy theories about Biden specifically to protect Trump.

Not only will they have no difficulty arguing it, they'll easily argue that it is the House Democrats, and Biden, who are the real criminals.  The saddest part is I know a great many people who will believe all that nonsense.

AZ is worth watching because of Senator McSally. She lost her election in 2018 and was appointed to McCain's seat, and she's not popular. It's super important for Dems to take Senate seats, so in that sense, there's gonna be a fight. It's possible for solid red AZ to be fielding two blue Senators after 2020. The Democratic nom will affect down-ticket races like that, even if AZ doesn't go blue in the electoral college for another few cycles.

And, hey, this is a wild ride we're on right now. Crazier things have happened - and will.
