Honestly? We should have walked out after we handed Kabul to the northern Alliance in December 2001.

The entire Afghanistan mission was one man.  Not oust the Taliban.  Not build a country.  Not support human rights.  Not help women.  Not grow poppies.  Not sell heroin for the CIA.  It was to kill a man....AND GO THROUGH ANYONE THAT GOT IN OUR WAY.

One May 2, 2011 we accomplished that mission.  The next day should have been the last time boots were on the ground in Afghanistan or Pakistan.

The only thing he's sexually attracted to is military conflict.

Lindsey Graham, the most prominent Ares-sexual in Congress.

He looks so sad. And pathetic. Like he's going to cry. Don't hold back, Lindsay. Let it out. We know that there's a world of hurt there between your conscience and the amalgamation of satanism that you've sold your soul for.

Oh that's reminds me... the hypocrisy of the GOP. Yep. They will soon find some "quick boat" to mess with Mayor Pete if he gets too popular. All the while, they will support their own kind who admit to war crimes.

It's not like he can really feel a small mushroom cap in there anyway.

The mission was also to prevent Afghanistan from being a safe haven for Al Qaeda.

It was lost the moment we diverted towards Iraq.

I totally understand what the mission was... I'm tracking 5x5... He wasn't in that country after December 2001... al-Zawahiri was seen by Delta and some others over the years, but OBL was gone.

Sure, hindsight is 20/20... But, I thought it when I saw those Northern Alliance tanks rolling in on that day and I still feel it now. It was 20 years of a meat grinder.

Maybe we should just buy it.

As soon as OBL escaped Tora Bora, it was a lost cause to stay in Afghanistan.

And the powers that be LET HIM GO.

I'm writing this in response too all of your comments, in total, at once.
BTW:  You're all right.

I recommend you all do this (if you have the time)
-> Schedule off an hour of time.
-> Prepare by getting huge amounts of your favorite drink.
-> Disconnect the landline phone, if you have one.

Open this page, and listen...
