Unlucky 13: Henry Smolinski.

Married a Ford Pinto to a Cessna Skymaster.  It plummeted to the ground and exploded, killing him instantly.  Accident investigation showed the welds attaching the wing to the Pinto were insufficient.

Pinto. I guess it was the lightest car he could find in 1973.
