You wouldn't think so, but it actually takes a little bit of skill to make a decent cold placenta sandwich the day after a birth. You need to use the right tomatoes, the bread needs to be just *slightly* toasted, and you can just fark right off with that Miracle Whip.

They always go with the Chianti.  How about a Merlot?  The earthy undertones really accent the liver's multilpe levels of flavor.  From the snappy bile ducts to the harmful chemicals temporarily stored in the fatty tissues.  Man, with a good merlot, you can almost taste the remnants of the 'donors' Clonzepam.

And fava beans?  Mac and Cheese.  Slices of that guy named Mac lightly tossed in a cheese sauce.  Reminds me.  I'm almost out of Mac.  (Note to self) "Pick up more Mac at the bus station"

Chianti is from the film, in the book the census taker's liver and fava beans was paired with a big Amarone.
