Work is work. These people need to make a living.

We're supposed to be surprised that a classic musical group is playing in Las Vegas? What's next? Should we be shocked, SHOCKED
to find that there is gambling going on there too?

thanksagainandagain: Schon can still blaze.

I was really hoping for an original lineup tour (or at least a couple shows) after they did the Santana IV thing. Zero interest in seeing them play Steve Perry era tunes though.

Has anyone in any western hemisphere country not heard Journey yet? And they're totally classic rock. Heck, they've been around long enough they're being bumped off of some of the classic rock stations in favor of Nirvana.

FYI: "Classic" doesn't necessarily mean "quality", it means "old".

Having 2 albums plus a greatest hits and a greatest hits live album I think I've heard enough of this 1973 pop rock band. A 46 year old group, and not the best one around at the time, doesn't hold my interest much anymore.

They have a lot of standards...

There are alot of 30-40-50 somethings that still like the music they grew up with and have the money to spend to see them.

If anyone hasn't watched Hired Gun on netflix, it is a good watch. Many musicians are one live show way from being a house painter.

Kudos to any player who can still make money out playing music.Milk it for as long as you can.

My favorite era/line-up of Journey

I saw them in '76, '79, '80, '81 in Seattle. I literally ran into them before the '79 concert, they were walking around the Center & I ran smack dab into Steve Perry. To me it isn't Journey without Perry.
