I couldn't finish that.  It wasn't published on April 1st, was it?

We really need to raise the tax rates.

As a girl with particular taste in water, I resemble this article.

CSS: I hate our local tap water, so a few months ago I was looking for a cheaper almost-as-good alternative the my favorite water, Ice Mountain. I got several jugs of assorted brands of drinking water, and for fun my wife set me up a blind taste test to see which one I liked best.

As expected, I identified which one was Ice Mountain right away. My wife then watched in amazement as I correctly identified all four brands of water, by taste.

Is 'water sommelier' a fancy name for the guy out back with the garden hose?

This led to my trip over two years ago to a small town outside of Munich, Germany, called Graefelfing and the internationally renowned Doemens Academy. The course and educational training includes knowledge-based learning about widely varying types of water, their characteristics, sensory training, visits to water facilities, beating posts until my knuckles were bloody and a series of deadly exams to become certified.

People pay her money for her opinion.

I don't think it matters what she is doing, she sits on a damned throne and that's awesome(ly ludicrous).

I used to work at a place that had a water tap that was the "perfect" temperature for drinking water. I don't remember off the top of my head, maybe 20 degrees C? It was cool without being cold. I have to agree, it was nice.

Obiously, mineral content will affect taste. Best table water available... in France, at least:

Nice mineral balance. Tiny bubbles.

Somehow I already knew that's exactly what a water sommelier looks like.

Me too.  First thing I thought of.

Sometimes water tastes bad. Normally it doesn't taste like much. My tap tastes the same as bottled, and I have to add a pinch of that pink Himallayan salt for taste when filling the jug. Beyond that, you're overthinking the water.

Astonishing. That is PRECISELY what I thought. +1

As long as it's potable, who cares?

Well, I mean, besides those of us making coffee with it. That's where I use a filter with my tap water.

I really like a water with a strong O taste, and a hint of H flavor on the back end.

I'd like to know why my tap water does not win the taste tests for Colorado water every year.  I mean I'm pretty high over here.

Parasites. Waterboard everyone involved and make put them on a diet of Flint Michigan tap water.

Water has twice as much H as it does O. May I interest you in some trioxidane?

I misread it as "wafer sommelier" and thought Catholic Churches of The Rich and Famous.
