It's not the fault of the Democrats if none of the GOP members on committees want to do their patriotic duty and ignore illegal acts, but the fact still remains that it's not the Democrats, in and of themselves, that are doing this. It is House's Intelligence and Financial Services committees, acting in the lawful capacity.

Funny how that gets changed from "committees" to "democrats" by biased reporting.

What are you on about? The people who filed the subpoenas are indeed House Democrats. Headlines cannot always contain every word to explain the entire situation

Trump will piss and moan about the radical leftist Democrats who lost with Mueller and now they are trying every trick in the book, but if Hillary was in office, well, she'd have already have been impeached, but otherwise they'd be crawling up her cooter with a fine toothed comb.

Was it a straight party line vote in committee?

It may have been, but I  would expect some crossover in committee.

I agree.  About 3 or 4 Am today I read an article, that even the GOP are worried that they're lack of oversight in the first 2 yrs of his GOD awful presidency, has diminished the role of future Congress'.  (I can't remember where I read it, I think it was on Rawstory.com and it referred to or linked to an article).

They created a monster and now the GOP party will be ruined during or just after Trump.

Yeah, the fact that they have not all strapped on machine guns and stormed the White House is proof that they are JUST AS BAD as the Republicans.

No, the subpoena is filed by the committee. Noting the makeup of the committee is an additional fact, which you are suggesting they didn't have space for..

Everyone was worried about Democrats not going fast enough. In respect to them, they have to at least provide the illusion of trying to be bipartisan. They have now requested everything that Congress and especially the HIC should have regarding investigations into sitting members of the executive office, including the President.

Now that the GOP and entities like the IRS have shown to not be interested in what's legally required of them to process, Democrats are going around them and getting the information they need from other sources, and they will not be keeping those records public. The GOP and AG and any other department not wanting to play ball will now experience 2 years of the House making them look like idiots until they start to play along.

Not really.

If the target was the Russians, and someone from Trump's circle gets caught in the web, that isn't on the FBI, CIA, or whoever was doing the spying. It's on the Trump administration.

There were threads just yesterday where people were blasting the Dems for not doing anything about Trump.

Hell, one fool went so far as to say it was the Dems mess to clean up all the havoc Trump has caused because they haven't moved to impeach him yet. Ignoring, of course, that republicans gave him free reign for two years to do as he pleased.
