Brace yourself for republicans to launch a massive counterattack of nothing.

Nothing in that article even begins to suggest any Republican is even remotely 'aghast' about anything at all.

If only there were something you guys could do instead of being whipped like little wimps.

If only, but nope I guess you're powerless to stop Donnie The Mad King.

Such a shame you wield absolutely NO POWER

I'm aghast that right wingers are so bereft of ethics, morals, empathy and humanity. I'm aghast that so many of my so called fellow citizens are cool with concentration camps and Trump trying to whip up pogroms. By any measure, right wingers are the worst people.

Republicans are not essentially decent people held against their will by Trump. They are trash people who mostly support Trump and will likely do more to destroy America after Trump is gone.

I can't believe they are blind to his power grabs. I think they don't care.

And here I thought the white, Republican base extolled a big stick, don't back down, alpha male attitude from their elected a Congresspersons. All we have are a bunch of defunct, head-nodding sycophants that kowtow to the one person most undeserving of their respect. About the only thing they agree on is stigginit, which does absolutely nothing.

Not aghast enough to do anything or put country before party and self. But you know, some aghast.

One copy of the FBI report, 15 minutes to look at it. Yeah, that Trump is controlling Congress.

Oh, fark off, you worthless assholes. You should all get kicked in the balls every single day.

As long as it is republicans doing the power grab the republican base will support any action required to get and abuse that power.

They brushed into a little bit of aghast, but it was laundry day anyway.

Be vewy, vewy quiet! You're out hunting wabbits! And by "wabbits" I mean "your self-respect and duty as constitutional officers."

Pretty sure you're not going to be looking very hard.

Quietly expressed concerns or not, this group of Republicans is going in the history books as teaming up with Donald Trump, a criminal who received material assistance from foreign countries to get elected, to destroy America. fark them for every current, deceased, and future American.

Their voters are too stupid to understand future consequences, but fark them too.

I think a lot of them do, it's just that to stop him they would have to break party discipline and maybe even face a primary. What could they possibly do?

/The party is always right.

The need to stay employed is always right. In most jobs, if you're not pulling on the same end of the rope as the people who keep you in your job, they will relieve you of your responsibilities. No different in politics.

When Donald Trump no longer has the ability to affect the election prospects of downticket Republicans, they will turn on him fast enough to give everyone whiplash.

Donald J Trump needs to be put in his place.
He doesn't understand that being President of The United States of America is very different from being the president of a company.

Donald J Trump is not "in charge", he is a representative, nothing more. It is not his job to make laws.

Headline: "Trump beats small child to death with bat on Senate floor"

"The President has chosen to use a stick," said Kennedy, a Louisiana Republican. "He may ultimately be right, but I would try and use a carrot too."

Try to DO something

That's what great Americans would do
Kick ass, take names, defeat a tyrant.

I think we've done it before, the right way.
Right as in good not conservative

Kick Trump out
This will make America better again

But no, you'd rather CYA, line your pockets, promote your own power
All at the cost of the nation and it's citizens
And it's integrity

You guys have less spine than those you claim don't

Simple as that.

Perhaps some kind of gently worded letter, softly read to lullably music, by a blonde woman with really big distracting bazooms. En lieu of those nasty letters, the United Nations sends to other dick-taters.

I am at the point where I refuse to accept that what I'm seeing in America right now is real. There is no way so many people are really fooled by Trump. It can't be.

I think the simulation we are in is being manipulated by whoever created us. This is a sick experiment. 40% of America has been adjusted to be out of their minds just to see what will happen. Trump is such a disgusting human being and is so irredeemable in every way I cannot believe tens of millions of people still love him. It's not true.

I'm ready to wake up now. I've had enough. I want my regular life and country back.

I really do hope they implode on themselves in the next 10 years. Despite being a pretty libby lib I'd be open to an opposition party that isn't so corrupt that their positions are laughable.
