(Gay Star News)   Ariana Grande's very visible displays of support for LGBTQ rights seen as a "fark you" to homophobe Coachella owner Philip Anschutz. Of course, a better "fark you" might have been not showing up, thus not making him millions, but what do I know   (gaystarnews.com) divider line

Grande...ended her historic performance displaying a giant rainbow Pride flag

I was hoping for something a bit more "Lady Gaga as the Naughty Mother Superior"

One could argue she had more impact by attending and showing her support. Whatever financial impact not showing up would do isn't going to hurt Anschutz.

One could argue that whatever she did isn't either.

It's not about hurting Anschutz, but hopefully changing the hearts and minds of young people.

Agreed.Anschutz was going to make the same money regardless, he'd just have had another performer. Showing up for the show gave her a platform to send a message that she wouldn't have otherwise had.

It'll be interesting to see if she's invited to Coachella in the future.

Boycotting Anschutz Entertainment Group, could be difficult for a performer.  AEG own a huge number of venues.

Ariana Grande's very visible displays of  ...

support for LGBTQ rights

Damn it!

Not that I object to support for LGBTQ rights, it's just not the displays I am looking for.

The girl is super progressive. After all, she's been reaching out to the pedophile community for years!

The more visible Ariana Grande is the better, IMHO.

I am not getting it. Intolerance in entertainment is very bad for business.

What's the difference between an Ariana Grande and a Demi Lovato?  I can't keep these Starbucks drinks straight.

Her concert was shot up by a farking terrorist in Britain and she went back to help the community try to deal. She's a bit of a hero in my book and can do whatever the hell she wants.

OFFS.  I did worse in my youth, and I bet you did too.  Luckily, in my day, there wasn't a video camera in every pocket, and an Internet to never forget.

Apparently there's no point - Anschutz stops funding anti-ANYone groups when he finds out they discriminate.

https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/aeg-ceo-philip-anschutz-anti-lgbt-reports-fake-news-119383/

Matt McTighe, executive director of Freedom for All Americans, expressed optimism regarding Anschutz in a statement to Rolling Stone. "It's encouraging to see that even those who've funded groups opposed to LGBT equality in the past are willing to change their views and come around to opposing discrimination," McTighe said.

Sorry if that deflates any rage boners.

Also, in the article itself: "Anschutz has addressed the controversy over his donations in a 2017 interview. He claimed he was not anti-LGBTI and would no longer donate to organizations that are LGBTI."

Someone needs hug

Next month she'll announce 10 or more sexual orientations she identifies with.
Then she'll circle back to how despondent she is over her ex that killed himself.
Then she'll milk the Manchester dead again.
And around and around and around.
All to stay in the media eye and get people to buy her products.
