That would make the studies much more reliable.

Change can hurt, but it leads a path to something better...in mice.

No, I don't think that works, subby.

I'm confused on what is going on.  The Twitter post says that an account is flagging studies on mice as studies performed on humans, but the linked study was done on humans and the Twitter account said it was on mice?

I am confused.

The owner of that account, James Heathers, once said my beard was hot.

I am 100% sure it was not sarcastic.

"The researchers examined the offspring of mice that performed 60 minutes of moderate intensity exercise every morning during pregnancy.
Offspring born to mice that didn't exercise were used as a control group."

Sounds like mice to me.
The point is the article headline or more implies it was on humans, but the actual data is from a mice study.

and almost all of these studies use laboratory mice which are different strains and have different environments that wild mice. Lab mice are much wimpier than wild mice.

https://www.nature.com/articles/ncomms14811
The comparative immunology of wild and laboratory mice, Mus musculus domesticus

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laboratory_mouse#Limitations
researchers have found that many mice in laboratories are obese from excess food and minimal exercise which alters their physiology and drug metabolism.[53] Many laboratory animals, including mice, are chronically stressed which can also negatively affect research outcomes and the ability to accurately extrapolate findings to humans.[54][55]

Then again it may be that domesticated mice are a better model for humans beyond the hunter-gatherer stage.

This is kinda bass-ackwards.

JustSayMice is flagging articles about studies done on mice when the articles imply that the findings automatically apply to humans, even though there was no testing done on humans.

The article says "Exercising during pregnancy can protect children from obesity later in life, a study has found."  JustSayMice is pointing out the study DID NOT say that.  The study says that female mice exercising during pregnancy can protect the baby mice from obesity later in life.

Just. Say. Mice.
