(The Raw Story)   It's holy week, there are long lines on the bridges leading into border towns, and businesses are suffering. Just as Jesus intended   (rawstory.com) divider line

The Department of Homeland Security said last month it was redirecting 750 Customs and Border Protection officers from the ports of entry in El Paso, Laredo, Tucson and San Diego to assist U.S. Border Patrol agents in processing undocumented immigrants. "

Has any credible national or international news/humanitarian organization documented the alleged influx of immigrants

Immigrants are a net positive for everyone except white supremacists. The hateful brutality of Trump and his ilk at the border will haunt us as a nation for generations.

Wait ... haven't we already had Easter?  I don't really cruise the Holiday aisles until Halloween so I don't know. Easter candy isn't very good.

When I used to live in San Antonio, ten years back, we'd have a large influx of people this Holy week. Many businesses really depended on them. Aside from the overall blatant racism, (THe lighter colored visitors looked down on the darker colored ones, even locals) mostly it was overtly ignored because they brought so much money in to the local economy, plus knowing they'd be leaving soon.

There's going to be a two-hour wait at Red Lobster this Friday. Which begs the question, who waits two hours for a table at Red Lobster? I mean, those biscuits are good, but they're not two-hour wait good.

This sounds like there could be a good business opportunity for someone in El Paso with a box truck.

Have one guy take orders and buy stuff in the US while a second is driving yesterday's stuff into Mexico.

Stop forcing your religious views on Fark. It is not Holy Week. It is Holy Week TO YOU.
To me it's endless lines of cars queueing up to Mission San Luis Rey de Francia to go touch a tombstone or something, I don't know. All I can see is that traffic will be ruined any place east of the 101. Then again, who the hell cares about any place east of the 101? Wait, what were we talking about?
