The world is leaving us behind. We're just the crazy guy with a lot of weapons, and people are tired of our shiat. That reality will soak in whether it's wanted or not.

This isn't a great retreat. It's an attack in a different direction. Like Sun Tzu in the Art if War said " if you can keep your enemies guessing, sooner or later, they will guess wrong."  In the Trump book "Art of War and Big Trucks" "Blame the bone spurs".

Easy to start. Easy to win.

I don't understand why the US thinks it can dictate another country's domestic policy? I feel as though I've been missing some vital piece of information that would explain this.

Help?

People think Trump wants a victory with China but all he wants is a punching bag for his rallies.

Seriously.  This farker stands up and makes up numbers and facts about everything to please himself and shouts them to his goddamn audience so why the fark would Donald Trump or any of the MAGA hats care about any details in trade negotiations?  They are still chanting "lock her up!" for guck's sake!  Does that sound like an intellectually curious collection of minds?

He's beating up a strawman for his goobers and we'll all pay the price in some way but none of them will even farking realize it let alone hold him accountable for consequences.

This going down after a conversation with President Carter bodes well to the possibility that he's learning to listen.

Domestic policies that impact international trade are an important component to international trade negotiations.

The problem isn't that these policies are being challenged. The biggest problem is that this type of action needs to be done as a united front from the entire developed world, which is not possible when Trump simultaneously starts trade wars with all US allies. Further, the person in charge being an incompetent idiot who can't tell the truth and only cares about his own image makes it that much worse.

At least Trump's withdrawal from TPP let them remove the worst parts of it although the counter-Chinese bloc will be significantly smaller.

I know I love doing double-triple the number of strokes for a character to say the same thing!  I mean why use 龙  with its virgin 5 strokes when you can have a chad daddy character like 龍 with 16!
