It stopped a 9mm.  BFD.  A real rifle will put a round right through that thing.

/real=.30 cal or higher

Nothing is bulletproof, for a given value of "bullet." They may be resistant though.

I think many people are missing the point - it's going to be a far quicker and better handling vehicle than many other modified armoured vehicles and that can make all the difference when trying to put distance between your passengers and a threat.

I do something else entirely.  Every single time I get into my car (and I mean every single time - you can't make exceptions for this or it will come back to bite you), I make sure that there's no one in my car that people want to shoot at.

It's worked really, really well for me so far.

I use bullet repelling fuzzy dice hanging from my rearview mirror.

I have been driving for almost 30 years and haven't been shot once.

It depends though, if you're job is chauffeuring VIPs then you're not exactly doing a good job...

That only works for bullets addressed to occupants of your car. I fear the bullet addressed 'to whom it may concern'

Ditto for 'waterproof'.

As do I. If you know they are coming your way, you stand a chance of avoiding the incoming fire. It's the ones that are fired in no particular direction that will get you when you least expect them.

Anyone else notice baldy-boy is a farking lousy shot. He's close enough to hit the target by throwing the pistol, but he consistently hits a couple of inches left and low.

Drop an entire magazine into the window to see if it holds up. Assassins aren't going to give up after three shots because the bullets didn't go through. They probably wouldn't use pistols, either. I suspect a 7.62 would zip right through that window.

I always laugh when people take their expensive 1/4" AR500 steel to the range and try to shoot it with... any rifle stronger than 22lr. "IT DIDN'T WORK!"
Sorry buddy, user error.
Don't get me wrong, I once wondered just how bad a 5.56 would mess up a target meant for .22lr only... Turns out it didn't "mess it up" much at all, just put clean holes right through it. Similar to what you see with 1/4" steel.
