I'm a BIG Royals fan.

I went to Opening Day for the first time in my life (Thanks to the farkers that got me the tix, you know who you are), and waited out the rain delay, even though my favorite food joint is no longer there.

I had to leave the game early for medical reasons, but I listened to the game on the way home.

They announced that they were going to give anyone that bought tix another ticket to a future game.

It took them several days to get it organized, but when they finally did they put no restrictions on the game you could go to. I picked Royals/Cards.

They consider that a "Premium" game.

Alex Gordon doing things like this, and the organization caring for their fans like this is exactly why I remain a fan.

Even if their record is 3-10 right now.

GO ROYALS!!!

Don Gato: Keep Chris Davis away from the pediatric ward.

No problem - just put a baseball out front and he'll miss by a mile.
