Willson Contreras put another one onto Waveland Avenue in the fifth.

Current winds: W 30G43 at Midway, SW 26G40 at O'Hare. Southwest winds are basically straight out at Wrigley, anything hit high and long is going to go, and anything that was going to go is going to go a long way.

Yeah it was windy today. Didn't seem to help the Angels though

I'm ~300 mi west of Chicago, so we had those winds earlier in the week. despite not playing softball since 5th grade I'm pretty sure even I could have launched one with that assistance.

the more impressive thing here is Hamels only allowing one HR in those conditions when he tends to serve them up like they're going out of style.
