Because everything is backwards in Australia, cyclones fix your truck, revive your dog, put a new roof on your house, and find you a faithful spouse.

That's unnecessarily judgemental of you. They may still be coming to terms with thier identity as weather systems. Who are you to declare them wrong? It is just because they're spinning in a direction you don't understand or agree with.
